It may just be my personal preference, but maybe make the colors less of a contrast? Think the first one in color, but the second one in design blended out a bit?

It’s a no from me. It looks like you just threw some “zombie” colors together without much thought. I’d put some more thought in the color theory involved and experiment with some more colors.

I get what you mean. The dark blue in the second version does look a tad bit too dark! I'll be sure to work on that in the third version!

I'll try to add different bits of colors and experiment a little, though I personally think that it's okay besides the dark blue. The base doesn't have to be 'Zombie' either. I just named it that because that was the first thing that came to mind. But I'll try using some different colors for sure!

I'ma stay on the fence for this one for now, the green base is quite pretty but the unblended dark cyan kinda throws me off, as they look more like markings than the actual base, and a bit out of place.

My suggestion is maybe lighten up the cyan a lil bit, ( or maybe change it to another shade of green, though prob wont be needed if handled correctly ) and / or make the colours blend with eachother more so they look like they're joined.
