I was homeschooled through highschool. I had issues with Math, needed an actual teacher and not just a book. Once I got a teacher I made straight A's. But when I went to sign up for highschool level classes at the community college they said I had to have a diploma or GED. To take HIGHSCHOOL level courses lol So I got my GED and then my associates degree three years later. The extra year is from taking those courses that didn't count for college credit.

Planet Zoo is really fun, I will note challenger, career, and sandbox modes do tend to lag if the zoos get too big, but overall, I really feel like it's a great game. I'm liking Halo so far, I haven't played as much as I'd like just because the co-op mode keeps kicking out one person or the other, but the game is great when we can get past that. I want to try Red Dead Redemption 2 at some point, but haven't yet. I've heard a lot of people talking about Valhalla, but haven't played it and don't plan to for a while. I've been thinking about getting Need For Speed Heat for a long time, I'm really good at racing games, but have only really played Mario Cart extensively and don't have access to that at the moment. I'd like to play more racing games, I just haven't really found a good one yet, but I'm leaning towards getting Need for Speed Heat.
@Leglana Nice on the small businesses. I know Covid's hit a lot of businesses and the company I work for had a lot of problems at the start because we had to switch everything over from in person studies, I got brought in from a different department to help do that and ended up tech support. I'm very glad to have a job, even though it isn't really what I want to be doing.
@Batera Interesting. Not really my thing, but sounds interesting.
I know what I'm trying to do today, but it's... daunting. A lot of major stuff has happened lately in my life and there's also work to deal with.
Also, I'm switching between my main and side account really often, please let me know if this is confusing, I can stick to one or the other when posting.

i just don't like word problems and mental math can be annoying i mean I'm good at it and very fast or so I've been told but i prefer to just plug it into a calculator

Math was never my strong suit, and my school really sucked and I didn’t have the best childhood so I wasn’t in the greatest place mentally so all of that led to me not graduating.

@Batera Good luck! I'm actually signing up for pre-med classes soon, I just got accepted yesterday.
@Leglana That sucks. At least it got sorted out, but I know how annoying it can be to have to take an extra year of something because of a problem. I had some issues in college, but that was for a lot of reasons.
I can do math well enough, but I'd also prefer to just plug it into a calculator to be sure.

My GED didn't change much for me. I now have my Bachelors degree so it doesn't really matter anymore. Though I am glad to have achieved it anyway.

@Witch I love Valhalla as I mentioned. It is addicting. Haven't started Red Dead yet, but I have seen my brother play. It looks fun.
