Edit: Seems 404 has been "fixed" and is no longer glitched. There are, however, other similarly messed lions around. There's a small list at the end of the post.

Once upon a sunny April 16, 2020 I was refreshing the front page on the search for interesting kings. Then I got something unusual in the Random Player box.




Now, my browser will sometimes hiccough and not load something properly so I didn't think much of it. There's a lot of layers on the lion art on here, after all. But there was no name, either. Naturally, I had to click.



Upon posting it in the chat , everyone's brains collectively broke. Seems it wasn't just my browser. This was a lion that Should Not Be, a cursed lion. It's someone's king, but it's a cub. The site doesn't register it as having any stats, base, eyes, sex, genetic color, skin, or personality. Viewing its pride or heritage makes the site simply say that the lion doesn't exist. Someone suggested it may be a test lion. We started calling it 404 as a name.

There's always a possibility it'll get fixed or removed in the future, as the staff in Help said that the owner of the lion just has to reach out to the staff to fix the bugging. However, the truth is boring and there's LORE potential. This thread is for having fun coming up with ideas around 404 or just to appreciate the magic of () while it lasts.
