Oops! All Genders! (#36227) Impeccable View Forum Posts Posted on 2020-04-18 00:12:34 |
Hi! Your local anthropology major here! I LOVE human ancestors, especially hominins (modern humans, extinct human species, and all our immediate ancestors) and I think it would be so rad to have some of those (Authralopithecines and Homos, specifically) as craftable decor for January. Here are some of my ideas: Perhaps the most famous hominin fossil: Lucy or Australopithecus afarensis. Ugh, what a queen! -- Or how about A. boisei? Cheekbones for DAYS! -- Maybe you enjoy the Homos more?? How about the *classic* Homo erectus?? -- And the OG toolmaker themself: H. habilus!! But maybe you're not super into the living versions of these bois, how does some fossil skulls sound?? A recently found friend, and one of my personal favorites: A. sediba! A pal that everyone's familiar with: H. neanderthal! Thanks for reading and I'd love to hear your suggestions and criticisms! |
