Okay, first and foremost - these mock-ups are HORRIFIC - I chop shopped the crap out of Xy's beautiful artwork, but I just wanted a semi kind of visual representation for my idea. Please pretend they are beautifully crafted and actually look nice and natural.. not like a 5 year old cut them out of a magazine and stuck them on paper ;)

My idea is to try and bring some popularity back to the old primal mutations; most notably the Primal and Smilus. I would have included Felis, but they just don't have much of a mane, sadly.
These are NOT mutations - they are simply a type of mane that will only be inherited from their respective mutation parent.

Primal mane will be passed from Primal, Smilus mane will be passed from Smilus. Pretty self-explanatory. I think they should have a lower-than-average pass rate. I guess the passing combination could be Smilus x any primal and Primal x Primal? Primal mane x Primal mane/Primal mutation and Smilus mane x Smilus mane/any primal mutation. Thoughts on this? :)
