It's an average day on Lioden, you login, and rollover. You make sure things are going good in your pride, and you are presented with a nice little summary. No cubs have died, none are injured, the only lion that left was a simple lioness that you didn't have an interest for. Then, you see that some of your lions are starving! You go to your caves to take feed all your lions, as a way to let them know you haven't forgotten about them. In the middle of caring for all your lions, disaster hits. You've run out of food! No problem, you'll just send your lionesses out hunting, and go exploring, that'll give you the food you need. An hour later, you and your lionesses haven't brought back enough to feed the remaining lions. You feed what you can, and go to Monkey Business to buy a food bundle, but you recently spent the rest of your Silver Beetle on an amazing decor for your favorite lioness. Now you have to watch half of your pride leave you, and the rush starts. You have 7 days to reclaim your lions. Day 1, you manage to reclaim two lionesses. Day 2, you only reclaim one. Day 3, you reclaim one lioness, but you forgot to feed her, and now she's out again. Day 4, you reclaim one lioness, and the same happens on Day 5. You have two more days to reclaim your lionesses, but to your disappointment, you're busy on these two days, and you don't get the chance. No problem, right? You can just rollover and be on day six, and reclaim your last few lionesses. You log on to Lioden, do your rollover, do some exploring, and everything's good. While exploring you got 200 Silver Beetle, so you go to your den and scroll down. Now we have our problem. You can't reclaim your lions anymore, as they were based on real days, not rollovers. Losing our lionesses is something that all Lioden players might have faced at one point. Your faced with panic, but you get them back, so you're fine. But not everyone is that lucky. Some people have to reclaim 20 lions within a seven day time period, and while some people are able to devote a great amount of attention to the game, others can't. Sure, you get over losing the lionesses like this, but it's still painful to watch them leave you. Reclaiming lions shouldn't be treated like an event, such as the watering hole or the monthly events, where it is based on real life days, but should instead be based on rollovers, adapting to the players agenda. This would allow players who lose lions to reclaim them when they have the chance, instead of facing a challenge that they can't completely overcome. |

No support. The reason why this mechanic is on real days and not rollovers is because people can take advantage of vanishing their lions and avoiding feeding them, aging them, ETC without freezing the account. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

As much as I'd like to support this, there is good reason behind why it's based on real days and not rollovers, as serval pointed out. 0 players like this post! Like? |

So, correct me if I'm wrong, as the way it was explained was kind of confusing, but if reclaiming lions is based on real days instead of rollovers so that people can get rid of specific lions without their lions aging (once again, please correct me if what I'm taking from that is wrong), what if the amount of time you have to reclaim your lionesses is extended, even if just for a few days. This could help people to maintain a healthy life-simulation balance, while at the same time having more of a chance to reclaim their lost lions. 0 players like this post! Like? |

idk if i buy that it would really be easier for players to let their lions run away so they can avoid feeding them. i mean, think about the cost-effect analysis— it would cost 200SB for them to let the lioness run away so they can reclaim her 7 days later, whereas it would cost maybe like 1/8 of that for 1 lion's week's worth of food. if it's a matter of pushing back heats... you would REALLY have to plan that out ahead to take advantage of it lol, so much to the point that i find a hard time believing many players would do it— i certainly wouldn't lol regardless, i support this suggestion or a suggestion to make it easier to reclaim lost girls such as extending it or whatever. it's not really a problem i have to deal with personally, but when i was new to the game, it was a setback i faced a lot (especially because the 200SB cost is very little for older players but for new players it can seem like a huge fee), and im automatically unsupportive of anything that puts new players at a disadvantage in a complex game like this 0 players like this post! lost a tigon due to the reclaim system being in rl days instead of rollover days, this happened while i was on hiatus. wouldnt want anyone else to lose a precious pride member that costed a lot of money, grinding, and time to acquire. support. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Wolvden has a similar system to reclaim wolves, however, it let's you reclaim your wolves in rollover time, not real life. The only drawback with that is how the time is shorter to reclaim (three days I think), so it's really just choosing between two evils! :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

🤨 I'm sorry but I fail to see how people would take advantage of this. To start off, any kind of advantage is mitigated already if you let them run, rollover everyday untill you claim them on their last day. But okay, onto specifics. A lion gains 20% hunger each day, so you will only need to feed them every 3rd or 4th day if we are speaking of major meals filling 40% or more hunger- but you practically get your King feed for free with one energy bar be exploring, and bring back home meat scraps and small prey like meerkats that are a common encounter. You should be able to keep a Lions hunger over 50% just feeding them two low use food items that the Monkey man buys about 2-3 sb each. If you feed them everyday two Meerkat like carcasses, that’s going to be a total 42 sb potentional lost to Monkey man. That’s a little less than a fifth of the 200 sb reclaiming fee. It’s vers clearly not worth to let them run and reclaim them later. For freezing purposes, it really doesn't matter weither it is it’s IRL days or rollovers. Letting your lion run for six days, rollovering each six days you have them on the run and reclaim them the last day and freeze your account for x amount of time when they are secured has the same effect as having your lion run before you go on a hiatus, rollover untill their last day and reclaim them. You’l have the same window of time to have your account be active while the specific lions are frozen in time, the only difference being that you are obligated to do the running procces first. It doesn’t change one thing for people that already exploit this mechanic, and if the goal is to not let people exploit it as a freeze, it’s easily solved be just having the runaway lions gain the same amount of age the same amount of rollovers they were left running with the progress that it brings with it such as heat cooldowns and survival bars dropping. I'm not here to propose an anti-freeze feature though, more as to point it out that having it be real life days to measure the reclaiming window isn’t really intended to be against people trying to freeze lions or avoid spending money on them. The only real reason I can think of it being like that is to not guarantee a week long period to get all the sb to reclaim all your lionesses, but I personally find it weird that the game should punish you for not being able to rollover for a while. Having it be rollover instead of actual irl 24 hours would be helpfull for newbies who are most likely going to assume that the real life days actually means a rollover, since that’s what Lioness breeding cooldowns are listed as, and for busy or forgetfull players. The only real con that I can think of is that it would be hard to revamp and not be benifical enough compared the work it needs. But I’m no programmer. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

I totally agree. not to mention that it isn’t fair to lose all your lions if you’re stuck offline (it has happened to me WAY too many times) it can be very devastating 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support because I just lost a bunch of muties because I haven't been able to be active in a while. And it should be based on roll over not real life days! 0 players like this post! Like? |
