What gameplay feature is this bug affecting?

What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible.
Today around 2:50 PM LDT I purchased herbs to feed beetles with from the Beetle Grounds. I clicked rapidly and thus purchased one additional herb I should not have been able to afford, sending my SB balance into the negative (-13 sb). When I attempted to buy another herb after this I was shown the correct "you don't have enough SB to buy an herb" message.

During this time I purchased $20 worth of GB to use on my heir. I was unable to buy decor from user branches, receiving the "you cannot afford to purchase this item" notice despite having sufficient GB in my account. I was able to purchase from the Oasis without issue.

Please provide us with step by step explanation how this bug happened so we can attempt to replicate it. If it's complex, please include screenshots where possible:
I assume this is what occurred-
I went to the Beetle Grounds page and rapidly tapped the buy a random herb button without waiting for the page to reload. I've done this before to buy a large volume of herbs and it has stopped me with a positive SB balance under the needed 20 previously.
