What gameplay feature is this bug affecting?

What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible.
I had just used up the last of my energy breeding a lioness and the "Get extra energy" button appeared. I clicked it and the bar filled up. But I then bred my lioness again and it said I had no energy. The bar was empty all over again. And I'm positive I didn't hit Auto-breed.

Any links relating to this bug? For example, if a particular lion is bugging, what is the link to that lion?

Please provide us with step by step explanation how this bug happened so we can attempt to replicate it. If it's complex, please include screenshots where possible:
I clicked the extra energy button. Bar appeared full so I clicked on the breed button. Page refreshed and said I had no energy to breed. The bar was empty and the extra energy button was not there. I did not click Auto-breed.
