yeah, I can't see any reason why they wouldn't have fixed this by now, seeing how frustrated people are with it. I'm guessing they're focusing on something bigger, but this is very important, too

I'm convinced that it's a CRTL+F in the code and the changing of a roll order or number XP

I think it might be worth looking into that Berenos (84593) has a particular glitch in which cubs randomly get Dudley skin when neither parent has it and their base doesn't have that default skin linked. I'll link the bugboard if it's allowed or PM the thread to you, but they have a theory that this glitch is caused because Kimanjano is SUPPOSED to be passing to those cubs, but isn't.

ugh i remember when y’all were going through your initial scry tests, can’t imagine how disheartening it is for those of you who are (or were) kiman or mandarin breeders. did staff ever address your guys’ work? i remember it got a lot of attention

also making them pass at the same rate as july bases would be so nice! i’ve been in the july breeding scene since skyward was introduced, and believe me those bases are NOT easy to come by, but at least it’s still possible to pass the base within a king’s lifetime. the only people who breed 500+ cubs are leaderboard statters lmao

No, unfortunately our work never got any acknowledgement from the staff. It was very rough, even though I wasn't a kiman breeder anymore when we were doing the scrys :(

Yes I agree! I've just kinged a skyward on my side, and though I've seen nothing from him yet he's young and I've got hopes. A base should have the potential to pass at least once in a king's lifetime, and having to try and breed 500 cubs to have the chance for one born is just crazy!

As a future Mandarin King owner I would like that too and I'll support this cause, bc having to depend on Hybrids only (which is a market for the rich or really, really lucky ones) is pretty expensive. Hope they'll fix them soon :'3

I’m trying so hard to breed a Kiman with some BO but it’s just not happening. If I can at-least get one with sunglow so I can stop rocking eyes that would be great!

After the usual nightly disappointing potatoes with Dark Golden mane I decided to do a pride search for all cubs <2yr (including pons) with the base and got a massive 38 results with most being inactive or dead accounts. Add another year to that search and again just more lions on inactive/dead accounts.

The bases are dying out really, really fast because they don't pass. Sorry you're having such a hard time with it, I hope you can get one!

A bit of an update if it helps, my Kiman at the time of my previous post was from a crunchy. After around 400 cubs he popped a Kiman to a Jacinthe lioness. I kinged him kicking myself because I didn’t rock his mothers Sunglow eyes (going broke). Then not long after that he popped a Kiman from an Ochre leopon, this time I rocked sunglow eyes so kinged again.


Now with this one I’m getting close to 600 cubs but still no luck yet. My king is closed so I know besides the odd lioness he’s studding with compatible lionesses. A quick glance at my pride and you will see I have plenty of breeders with the right genetics which just grow in numbers over time as my territory is always bursting!

People think I’m crazy but I don’t mind a bit of a challenge and i really would like to be able to breed a Kiman to my tastes.
