Way over 600 cubs now without it passing. I’m trying to reserve all of my potatoes etc so I keep a rough record but I do still abandon and chase some so not everyone is counted. I really would like to get Fulvous mane on him :)

like at LEAST make it 1% or 2%, better than what we have rn and much much more doable, though i think they may have made it that way to keep it rare and special, my want for cute bases is taking over though LMAO

Unfortunately this wasn't a move to make them rare and special, it was a move to make them completely unbreedable. The pass rate before the nerf, whatever it was, was just fine! They're just killing the base now, nothing rare and special about a base that doesn't exist anymore

I have had my kiman base king for over a year... and I have only managed to breed ONE kiman base cub that speaks volumes

oh wow congrats on the one!! You're definitely right, that speaks so loudly it's deafening. It gets really frustrating really quick, I hope they will listen to us soon.

I’d like to just be able to make my own Kiman with breed only traits without having to clone and RMA. I finally got Fulvous mane this February. After a year of trying (since feb 2020), this Feb I kinged some markings and Fulvous mane and did lots and lots of barking first gen to it and had a bit of luck which I’m grateful for.
However, I’m stuck with just 2 marks that I am not even needing and can’t make any progress. So since then I’m back to breeding hundreds and hundreds of potato after potato and watching the marks on my breeders that I made wash out again over time. Right now, I just want another Kiman with Fulvous so I can have a break and refresh my breeders again!

I don’t mind having a challenge but this just seems so ridiculous.

I absolutely support this!! Making any base that hard to pass is honestly sad
I'm wondering, though, if maybe the base is easier to pass from a hybrid?? I ask mostly since I've actually experienced a somewhat decent pass rate of the kimanjano base
so basically:
I received a gen 1 pon heat - used crunchy & bred to my haze king. I got 1 kim pon but not a clone
from that kim pon, I've bred one kim pon, no crunchy used
both kimanjanos came from a pon so it'd be interesting to see if there's any change in percentage unless that was the scrying conditions

I’ve had it pass without a crunchy from a 1st gen once which was also a Leopon and that offspring passed it once, also a Leopon, both from a common based king, whilst I was having a break to get marks together.
I have not had any success breeding them to my Kiman king and I’ve ran out of crunchies, I only had one successful crunchy from those offspring which gave me my current king. I have done lots of breedings, it’s definitely not easy with a Leopon or a first gen.

I have not been able to pass Kiman since that brief run of luck.
