So the standard hunger drop in the game is 20% per lion per day with the exception of nursing cubs who don't have a drop in hunger until they are 5 months old. I think another exception could be made as well, since this game is made to be semi-realistic. That exception would be pregnant lionesses. I don't know exactly what the factor should be, but I know that in nature, pregnant animals are hungrier. Maybe the factor could change during each day of the pregnancy? Because, as the cubs to be born get bigger, so does the mom's appetite. So like maybe this: 1st day of pregnancy: 20% x 1.1 = 22% 2nd day of pregnancy: 20% x 1.3 = 26% 3rd day of pregnancy: 20% x 1.5 = 30% After birth: Back to standard 20% or something similar to that? I think that implementing this will: 1. Motivate serious breeders 2. Make miscarriages just a tad more likely for the average player, not by much What do you think? Should this hunger increase with pregnancy be implemented? And what do you think the factor by which hunger increases should be if this gets implemented? |
