This would be a good idea at first but you'd have to think about all the coding the mods will have to do in order to even get one new pose,, meaning they have to put in every single marking, eyes, mutation, bases, etc... plus even if they decide to replace the poses there's bound to be some problems and glitches because of all the coding the mods will have to do ^^;;
But yeah, the adol poses are pretty dang old I've been seeing them for the 6ish years I've been on LD. I don't see much of a problem with em since they're temporary until your lion grows up but I don't think new poses are needed and it would be very inconvenient for the mods to do ;;

I agree. The adol poses are ok, but I also won't mind seeing a chance though. For cubs I agree, this pose is just terrible and doesn't show the markings that well how I'd like to see them.

We are talking about cub pose from 6-7 months on, right?

I personally don't favor the female adol art and it does seem a tad bit outdated but this is (as Takoyaki #48057 previously mentioned) a considerably hefty amount of work on both the coders side and the artists side. I'm not a huge fan of users suggesting change without trying to promote the change itself. To me it reads like 'hey fix this' but you won't provide any mock ups or replacement ideas to ease some of the workload on the creators part. In addition of the artists coming up with a brand new and unique pose, they also have to transfer over ALL markings and possibly edit them to fit the pose nicely. I'm not saying it's an atrocious idea, it's just borderline impossible to do when the staff is so busy on the release of Wolvden while also trying to keep the game up to date every Friday (while adding new features the second Friday of every month).

Just posting this to aid you in creating any future suggestions.

I will say though, I feel more like the art needs to be 'updated' and or 'tweaked' especially after seeing the quality of work going into Wolvden, but I think this kind of care needs to go into all the stages.

no support. xylax worked hard on those poses, and personally i think he did an amazing job. to overhaul them would mean days, if not weeks of work redrawing and reformatting every single base, marking, skin, and most mutations. not to mention the work of the coders who have to redo everything as well. if you dislike the cub or adolescent art that much, use a decor (eye of the kitten, eye of the youth, translucent jellyfish, etc.) to hide it.

I like the adol male pose, but I despise the adol female pose, but like what @silverstar is tired said, I say we should have more fluid transition through the poses. LIke with Cub Stages, we could have Adolescent stages, ranging from Young adolescent to Young adult. In the end though, this is probably going to be wayyy too much work, so I'm going to have to keep my support to myself.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the staff say they were stopping all big updates for LD to solely focus on their huge refactoring project? I don't know, but maybe this could be tacked in with that? I don't have much hope for this idea, nor is it that big of a deal to me, but it could be possible to kill two birds with one stone and maybe work it into the code refactoring?

For me I'd much rather see a cub pose rework than adolescent

I think it's fine how it is honestly! They're cute and it seems like unnecessary work to put on Xylax right now. As stated above, you can always purchase the extra cub stages (or other decor to change their appearance) if it bothers you.

If and when he feels like doing it, he will do it for us. I just feel kind of rude asking for more new art from him, when he's got so much on his plate right now between Lioden and Wolvden.

I don't think its rude to request/ask. Now if it was a demand or rudely stated then I understand that comment, but nobody in this thread for or against new art has been rude either defending it or stating opinions against it

I didn't mean you guys had been rude, I'm sorry Reading it back now, I realize how that sounded. I didn't mean that statement aimed at anyone here. I only meant that personally I don't like asking anyone for things ever. Even if I was starving and needed food, I still wouldn't reach out just because I'd feel bad asking.
