Please Read The Full Topic Before Non-Supporting! I suggest another variety of Primal mutation - based on Homotherium Serum, otherwise called the scimitar-toothed cat! Why? Because it could be a True Hyena Lion, answering the wishes of people wanting "hyena" mutation - without it going too far away from the current Lioden concept of prehistoric sabertooth cats featured in primal variations! It is as close of a cat to lion as a smilodon or dinofelis are, which are already featured as primal variations! A distinctive trait of this prehistoric sabertooth cat was a striking resemblance with a Hyena skeleton structure! Art by Vinn (#172263) ! Unique Way(s) of Obtaining! |

I agree with RainbowMilkSide there, that would be a much more viable implementation imo and keeps to LD's more realistic aspect of things rather than just magically morphing an adult into the mutation. The serum actually needing to 'take time' to slowly morph a cub into the serum would be a pretty awesome means to go about it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I added the possible 0-11 months suggestion to the first post! Ultimately it will be up to admins though - admins will decide the way it is aquiered the way they see most fit for the game mechanics! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Thanks! It could also be interesting to give players a choice between the serum or applicators to prevent a huge inflation of either 0 players like this post! Like? |

Definitely. I honestly see it that the means to do it could easily go either way, but I definitely do think the cub application only is my preference. Though to better back Mad's point in regards to why we could still allow adults to have the serum applied, in all fairness there LD isn't 100% realistic and since we have things like shamans who speak to spirits, lions who go to the stars from a killer stone, otherworldly events involving celestial and demonic lions, a freaking manticore NPC and more, I definitely think it is just as viable to allow for the serum to mutate even adult lions in the event the admins decided to go that route. 0 players like this post! Yeah! Primal mutation applicator itself adds a huge bulky primal mutation to an adult male lion! The very base of Primal mutation stands on that so, it wouldnt be too far to have a Serum that alters an adult primal lion. 0 players like this post! Like? Haha, that too, of course~ In the end we have plenty of supporting reasons that the serum could be applied in an either/or option depending on which route the admins felt was viable. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 31/05/20 @ 13:38:02 by Ticklicous (#490) |

Ultimately, it will be up to admins to decide - maybe they will make it obtainable in entirely different way if they see it more fitting somewhere else, for example, in November event revived from fossils stuff! 0 players like this post! Like? |

True that. It'd be very interesting to see a creative means to get the variation, but I definitely like the method you whipped up for doing so. So I honestly do hope that is how it happens if Serum gets added. XD 0 players like this post! Like? |

This is interesting, but I'd change this part: The Serum could be used on any Primal or Primal Variation lion in your pride and upon being used, it'd change their Primal into Primal (Serum)! It could work like Mukombero, maybe an item reward to add a boost or even make it a challenge reward like May's challenge or even like the Demiurge challenge. The Serum could be used on any Primal or Primal Variation lion in your pride and upon being used, the next breeding will have a cub with Primal (Serum)! I do like the idea of it only being possible to use on Primals. 0 players like this post! Like? |

That is the way Dorsal Fur and Ferus are both aquiered with, though, so it wouldnt really be unique to have it affect breeding again! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Possibly! There is already coding for that so it'd be easier to code than replacing the mutation, for sure. 0 players like this post! Like? |

oh, yes, my point was what @RainbowMilkSide said, it would be easier to be codded and more likely to be added that way, the unique part would be: you MUST use a primal lion to make it work, it would be a "guaranteed" variety, similar to Mukombero, but must be used like Pennyroyal. 0 players like this post! Something along the lines of "Only the powerful body of a Primal can withstand this bitter serum!" kind of lore? Hmm, I can see that working here too! 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 31/05/20 @ 13:58:01 by Mad Hyena (#29080) |
