So for all you slot breeders, let's get this out of the way real quick: APPLICATOR (marking that is applied via an item that can be bought/found/obtained). SO— no, you can't use it on rosettes, tier 2 marks, RMA-only marks, nada— none of those! this would only work on applicator marks, be they custom or 1 of 4 or gorilla enclave or whatever

Now that any possible anger is hopefully quelled, let's get into the important stuff. So, I'm not sure which is better or if I should be suggesting both, so let me know what you think!

A) Marking Slot Mover: lets you move any applicator mark into an unoccupied marking slot (maybe 2-5GB?)
B) Marking Slot Switcher: lets you switch the slot of any applicator mark with the slot of another applicator mark on the lion (5-10GB?)

this would be useful for when you're customizing a lion and they already have a marking you love, but you just wish maybe that nacre carvings wasn't in slot 10, or that you could move that slot 1 noctis sable into slot 8 where it would really shine! basically it means you don't have to buy another marking applicator and a marking remover just to effectively change the slot of a marking


I also, as always, hugely appreciate constructive criticism. However, I am a little on edge posting this considering the absolute nightmare that the last suggestion like this was, so let me clarify this politely real quick: this suggestion WILL not be extended to include any markings that cannot be applied via applicator or custom. This is not because I am against such an idea, but rather because it simply will not happen due to the playing style of a significant number of players. Because of this, I ask very nicely that no one a) suggest it be extended to encompass non-applicable markings and b) that if you see a player suggest anything of that sort, please do not respond to that comment. If you are curious as to why this is a rule, feel free to PM me and I'd be happy to explain it to you, but please avoid asking why on the thread.
Sorry, but I'm an anxious person and I don't like being yelled at, having other people be yelled at, or seeing any sort of underhanded/rude behavior. So let's keep this a positive thread, because who really needs any more negativity in their lives, especially over this ^^

Response (me): "due to the discrepancy between app prices, there certainly would be apps that this wouldn't be sensible to use on (like brawl or hyena), but i can actually only see that being a benefit, since there are too many brawl/hyena/cheap marking apps already, so i don't necessarily see a reason to make this item be cheap enough to include them, if that makes sense?

for newer people, i think as long as it states in the item description (or even in the name if desc isn't enough— "Applicator Marking Switcher" or something), then i don't see confusion being a huge issue, even for newbies. i also would guess staff is more lenient with item confusion tickets from younger accounts."
