Welcome to game! All lions die (unless frozen, but that is another question and as new that is not something you will probably be doing for long time now) when they reach certain age or die as cubs. Your king will live on without feeding, but you can retire him (ie. kill him to get another king) when he hits 15 years old. He must die when he hits 16. You can force him out by paying 10 GB (and more on top if you do it regularly in short time frame) before that age. All dead kings you can see in your king dynasty, on bottom left corner in your den page. Your lionesses, the ones you can get by claiming in explore, by buying and breeding, can die anytime after they hit 14 years old mark (when it's the last day to breed them). They must die when they 16 years old, but they can randomly die anytime between 14 to 16. If she is deaf (mutation, lethal) she can die any day, even when she is well fed and played with or pregnant and only like 4 years old. When lioness dies, you get notification about it in your daily message in game notifications. If you have space and you like to save her to look at later, you can save her records on pride dynasty page (next to king dynasty in den). If you don't want to save her, you can either leave the page (the records get destroyed in 7 days) or destroy her. You can customize all saved pride lions and you can even bring one back as frozen lion to your pride with Canopic jellyfish. Cubs can die randomly before they hit 1 year old if they are not protected by broodmother (to get one, edit lioness profile and make her broodmother, save and then scroll down to protect cubs) and have low % left in safety bar. You can play with them daily to keep them alive. I myself protect all the cubs I want to survive, others I leave without protection because they can die if they do. Then there is lethal mutations other than deaf that has cub dying anywhere between 1 month to 6 months old. You can check these very rare cases and much more in wikipedia : https://www.lioden.wiki/ To prevent your lions from dying, just keep them all well fed and play with them. I feed all my lions when their hunger is at 60% and play with them if the mood is under 42%. And protect the cubs. You can assign more broodmothers the more pride size grows (the 40 lion capacity is the highest you get for totally free and that gives you 3 or 4, don't remember which, broodmothers). When you hit 41 lion size, you get one more, same at 51 etc. Sorry for long answer, I just wanted to check all aspects. 7 players like this post! Like? You can't revive kings, when they die, they first become grandpaws that are part of your pride for a year and then they retire for king dynasty. You can't freeze kings. But you can use Canopic jellyfish (from June event) on saved, dead lion in your pride dynasty to bring it back on your pride as frozen. Frozen lions can't be fed, played with, bred, hunted or done anything else with. You can decorate them and change their profile (ie. write stories, anything you want). I have few my main Account Queen Senna & main account side Queen Orlaigh. You can also freeze cubs (ie. lethal cubs) with Jellyfish (these Jellyfishes are all for freezing except Translucent Jellyfish, they just work little differently and on different lions), which can be bought from others or won by getting Jackpot in Slots. You can freeze adolescent lions and adult lionesses and lions in your pride with Turritopsis Jellyfish (this one is for 5GB in Oasis or you can get it by buying from others). Canopic Jellyfish is the only one not working on alive lions, only on dead saved ones. You get one frozen slot for free when you start the game and you can buy or freeze a lion to fill that slot anytime. The slots after that costs GBs. If you have frozen slot filled and would love to have someone else frozen take that spot, you can either retire it back to dynasty, chase/kill/nature reserve the frozen lion or sell it to other players to free the spot. 1 player likes this post! All lions die at some point due to old age, lionesses at age of 16 and with king at 17 in oldest, and there is no way to stop them from dying. You can preserve them by freezing them with Turritopsis jellyfish as long as they are not your kings, but after becoming frozen they will be unable to breed, be played with or fed, effectively becoming interactable trophies that you can decorate but not do much with otherwise. You can stop cubs from dying from cub accidents by having a broodmother protect them. After reaching adolecense they are no longer in risk of dying until old age during adulthood 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 17/07/20 @ 10:10:39 by Sutittaja (#128142) |

You cannot revive kings but you can freeze adult and adol lions with Turritopsis Jellyfish from Oasis if they are still alive which stops them from dying but makes them uninteractable ( no breeding, playing or feeding) to stop them from dying or you can use Canopic jellyfish which you can buy from June event to do same thing to already dead lion. For cubs there is an item called Jellyfish that you can get from slot machines or from other players 0 players like this post! Like? |
