I think personally if we had a base called constellation, I'd prefer seeing faint lines connecting some of the stars, not just a normal recolour. We've got so many recolours as is, something to make it stand out would be nice.

Very belated, but I agree with Bennett, it would be amazing to see the stars faintly connected. Perhaps bring the gold a bit further down the legs too, maybe give darker toes? I know this is a recolor, but we do have a bunch, and I would FULLY support if it were to become more unique.

Support! What a beautiful idea! I'd love to see a few more mockups, maybe make it a bit darker in areas/almost like meteorite but retaining your color palette? Gorgeous base either way and I hope we get to see something like this in the future!

edit: the faint connecting of stars is a nice idea, it may be difficult to make it look good but that would be cool to try out!

🐎 Adara 🐎 (#7742) :: Why not? Space is many colours, and stars come in a spectrum of colours indicative of heat. Our own sun is a yellow-class star.

Gold deserves some spacey love too. It's the only category without space bases currently. Cream has Parahelion and Meteorite. Red has Ogdoad, Astral and Dawn. Black has Divine, Elysian, Penumbra, Leonid, Sidereal, Skyward, Pulsar, Stratosphere, Nadir, Interstellar, and Demiurge.

Much as I love Black, Cream and Gold really need more reason to breed for it. If anything, Black and Red need to be benched for a couple events haha.

Hey there! Your topic mentions this is a recolour of the Leonid base. Could you provide details on how you achieved the recolour (overlays, saturation levels, etc.) in your main topic? This information is super helpful for when developers look over bases, so they can fiddle with them on their own when deciding if they want to implement certain suggestions!

I actually had to totally recreate the base because I didn't have the psd file (I lost it!) so I redid it a bit with constellation lines! Here you go:

Leonid is unchanged beneath the color overlay! And the 'fix the star' thing is because on Leonid there's a star that's cut off on the hind leg there. It's always bugged me.
