the first objective of vredefort crater (take 200 explore steps) did not properly log explore steps until i revisited the page

Please provide us with step by step explanation how this bug happened so we can attempt to replicate it. If it's complex, please include screenshots where possible:
-embarked on vredefort crater quest on july 31st and started on the first quest from the demiurge (take 200 explore steps)
-went to check my progress on august 1st after exploring multiple times and found the counter at 0/200 explore steps
-used hyperactive 30% energy boost and went exploring again to see if it would reset the issue
-found it had began logging my steps correctly and came to report the issue
