Julia had made no promises to stay put. He was hyper from the night air and odd behaviour of his mother. He had followed her ever-so quietly- though a little off, he's far from stupid- and was watching the fight when Zelie called out. Quickly realising she must be with the enemy lion (he accepts anybody Sour or Sky attack as enemies) he leaps out of the undergrowth to block her path. "Teapothalfonedividedpaperwork" he babbles, trying to ask her to stay back and not get involved and utterly unaware he had said anything diffrent. She scares him and there is a sense of power about her cubs, but he tries to be brave and help Sour as much as possible by keeping her away..

She growled at the the strange lion, her gem shining brightly, " back off." Her powers were coming, she would kill, and her glare let him know

Julia's tail winds between his legs and he shakes with fear, but he tries to puff himself up and musters a strong "Don't whip that pony, sir". For some reason, he can see Sirius in his mind's eye. Would he ever see him agian?.. no time to ponder. Sour had taken him in as her own, and if she wanted that lion dead, he would do everything he could to make sure she got her kill. His snake-like eyes closed in preperation, his dusty-pink coat with it's queer striping fluffed to maximum capacity, his tufty rainbow mane standing on end, he stood his ground.

Her claws sank into the ground. " I can and will kill you. " She bares her teeth, her paws lighting up, mist was rolling from her. " You forget something, I am a goddess. The goddess of light and power!" A ball of light formed behind her drowning her in its light .

Julia is used to seeing things- water on land, butterflies in winter- but this light seems real, solid. Her words fill him with dread; a godess? He must do for his mother what she would do for him. She is still locked in battle with the lion, both of them bleeding badly and tiring. "Fly my trees home and please clean your boots after that swim" he purrs, really meaning "I knew you only a moment, but I loved you, Sirius. You are my first love". A single tear runs to the end of a singular blue whisker and he stops trying to make himself look threatening- he shrinks back into a stunted, oddly colored lion who only ever wanted to be understood. He will stand his ground to the end, and the end seems so close. As the light grows brighter and brighter he mutters almost inaudiably "Bumblebee jam.." ("Goodbye")

He spins and races away, falling every so often, knowing that when you are shown mercy you do not turn it down. He knows Sour would understand, and he can only hope she wins that battle. Deep down, he knows they may never meet agian.

Sour is exausted, but determined to end Linx for the lies Alpha says he has told. She will wipe his unnatural, lying butt off the face of the earth! She has lost an ear and a good chunk of her leg, but he is worse for wear too..

Ross wakes up with dread in his stomach; he can feel that something bad as happened. As he sits up, he is faced with chaos; Sour's wives are weeping into each other's fur, Sky is curled up silently in her sister's limbs, Greenie is pacing endlessly... he knew this day would come. Her goddamn wonderlust would spirit her away, leaving the rest of them to deal with her mess. Her few cubs are mewing and thier mothers are nuzzling them through tears. How he will keep order within and feed such a big pride hits him like a ton of bricks. Alan is breathing poorly in his usual corner.. Julia. He'll be broken. Ross runs outside calling for the little oddball, but can't find him anywhere. Did she take him? Did he stray off looking for her? He can't worry about the weird dude right now. He's eccentric, but full grown, and can handle himself. Ross is now unoffical king to sixty or so lionesses and four submales, and countless cubs.
