Sirius heard his name being called by a very familiar voice, oh my stars. Supernova. Sirius looked at Julia quickly, "Come on there is someone I would like you to meet." He dashed out of the cave and tackled Supernova, "You're alive!" The two lions started purring, rubbing heads and whatnot. Not in a romantic sense, but in a more friendly way.
Supernova laughed, "It's good to see you to Sirius. I can't believe Alpha told everyone I was dead." He took a step back to examine Sirius and gasped seeing the scars and some still bleeding wounds. "What happened?" he asked.
"Alpha," Sirius replied grimly.
"If she weren't dead I'd kill her again," Supernova said angrily, "And yes, Alpha is dead. I wanted to tell you first because I knew you would be able to take the news."
Sirius didn't know how he felt about Alpha's death, certainly not sad, but not happy either. She may have been cruel, but he had known her since he came to the pride.
"We can talk about it later," Supernova said, "But at the moment I need to go, I will be back before the first stars are out. That lion over there is Zellie, she is a friend of mine and a guest here."
"I remember her," Sirius said, "We met once when we battled Aries."
"Oh. Ok then, see you later," Supernova ran through the camp entrance and was gone in the shade of the trees. Sirius walked back over to Julia. "Sorry I didn't get to introduce you, but that was Supernova, the prides leader. Maybe you can get a chance to meet him later. Also, don't tell this to anyone else yet, but Alpha, you remember that mean interstellar lioness, is gone. It should be fine for us to walk around camp now if you don't want to stay in the cave. No one will care, we have guests around here all the time.

Julia nods; where else can he go? He can smell Sour's furious scent, but hopes she will not come and hurt his new friends. He bows to Zelie to show he accepts her as no foe, and then chases some leaves joyfully.

Sour shakes her head every so often, hating her empty socket.She can smell the enemy near; she will spill blood yet..

Zelie smiled at the lion. " Hello, do you want some food?"

"If pink" he says with appreciation; it has been a long time since his last meal!

Sour skirts the outskirts of the territory, carefully deciding who to attack. She decides upon a dusty-purple lioness with bold white splotches across her coat. She dives from a tree onto the unsuspecting pride member, knocking her into the grass. Holding a claw on her throat, Sour growls: "I mean you no harm. I simply need to trade you for Zelie, wife of my enemy. According to Alpha, her husband mislead an innocent lion and put this pride at risk as a result. I hate lies, my dear. Zelie stood between me and his blood. What is your name?"
"Ara", the terrified lioness says.
"Lovely. Don't try anything, Ara." Sour walks her to the front of the main cave and finds herself facing Julia, Sirirus and Zelie.
"JULIA! How dare you hold my son hostage?!" Sour screams, before composing herself. "Come, Julie. Stand behind me".
He shakes his head slowly. "Mistake" he mutters. He grins. "Mistake! Mistake!"
She draws away from him- she has more importent business. "Hand yourself over, and little Ara here walks free" she says to Zelie.

Sirius looks from Ara's terrified face to Zellie, then to Julia. Son? He wonders. It doesn't matter now though.
"Let Ara go," he snarls. This lioness might look strong, plus he could already see the wounds on Zellie and put the dots together, but he hoped his training with Alpha would be enough if worse came to worse. He singled with his tail and a few pride members who were gathered started circling Sour. He tried to catch Zellie's eye, he had a plan, he just hoped she would play along. He only needed Sours' attention for a moment.
"I hardly know Zellie," he started trying to get the massive red lionesses attention, "She is Supernova's friend not mine. You can take her or battle or whatever but leave us out of this, and get out of our territory." He tried desperately to let Zellie know he didn't mean this, he just had to get Ara away from Sour.

Zelie understood. " Yes take me just let the lioness go." She growled flicking her tail at sirus

She does not trust Sirius in the slightest, but wants the business done. She slowly begins to move her claw from Ala's throat.. then shoots a glance at Sirius. "Adopted", before turning her attention to Zelie. "Alpha is a fine lion. If he says lies were told, I have no reason to doubt him. I will end you first, then hunt for Linx and take him. Finally I will eradicate every one of your cubs, so that such evil blood can no longer walk this earth. Any one of you could do this to another pride, my pride prehaps, which I can't let happen". She looks at Julia firmly. "Now, please. We need to move quickly out of here so I can deal with Zelie and start my long hunt". The small, colorful lion looks at his new friends, utterly torn. He swore to protect Sirius- even if nobody really understood him - and had befriended Zelie. However, Sour was his mother; she had protected him from every danger. Why could they not just all get along? He longed to explain the confusion at the root of it all. He slowly shuffles closer to a small group of lionesses with his head low. Sour was the one who had made a mistake and trusted the wrong lion; he could not help her hurt an innocent family!

Far away, in the depths of a mossy woodland, Ross is utterly exausted. He misses Sour almost as much as he is mad at her. His own pride, made of fifty or so lionesses all with thier own little piebald markings, are no issue. He provides them with shelter, Dream (an ageless dwarf once best friends with his father, Latte, before his death) provides food and together they live in utter harmony. Sour's wives, however, are another story. They fight endlessly, they hunt ruthlessly (thier prey being dragged through the caves has given Cosy nightmares), and thier cubs run about unchecked, often dying very young. The submales do what they can to help, but thier efforts are in vein...

"Alpha was cruel and told many lies, whatever she told you is probably false. For example, she told everyone in my pride Supernova was dead, when just earlier today he was in our camp. She was a horrible leader, the only way she got to power was by massacring anyone who defied her." Sirius said. Sour no longer had her claw wrapped around Ara's throat, but Ara just stood there frozen in fear. All his sub males were in position, if Ara could get out of there they could overwhelm Sour.

Supernova had come back to Zellies camp, and he helped Pheonix pick up the cubs and start walking back home, where he hoped everything was going smoothly.
