This might just be me but I find this very confusing. This Black Panther, or rather Melanistic Leopard Cub, is pouncing at the jumping locusts. You're not sure if it's alone or if its mother is watching. You're given the option to join or chase. When you select chase, you get into a fight with the mother. Makes sense right? Then theres this encounter You jump into the air, surprised by a dashing King Cheetah Cub! It's chasing the locusts with so much focus it didn't even notice you. Now the options are to Raise paw, which scares off the cub basically, Chase, or find the mom. Find the mom initiates the battle... but what about chase? You chase the locusts too! While the cub is hesitant in the beginning; in the end, you end up exhausted, while the cub still runs around, trying to pounce your tail. This has mixed me up and confused me so many times. Where I've chased the panther cub not realizing it's a battle encounter, cause it was fine when I did it with the cheetah. I think for the panther cub, just for clarities sake, it could be something like Chase Cub or chase off cause there really is no distinction as to why it triggers a battle in one encounter but not the other. Or switching the king cheetah cub option chase to join so its similar to the panther cubs options. That would also work. |
