I made a similar guide to this back in August, and I'm making another one for October! In October, you can buy Crunchy Worms from Nirah's shop for blood beetles, which can sell for a good amount of gold beetles in future months! There are also applicators in tier 3 of the blood beetle shack, and some of those can sell well in other months. Unholy Body, Blazing Corpse, and Infernal Blood can all apply combo factor bases, and may be worth investing in, though personally I plan on mostly investing in Crunchy Worms! You can also purchase Shadows of Death from the Hell shop or Angelic Blessings from the Heaven shop for Nepheline Feathers and Demonic Scales respectively. You can also craft things using Shards of Evil at the demonic altar, and while that is technically not a currency, I have taken it into account for encounters that never give currency. This is meant to be a simple, quick "cheat sheet" of sorts that you can quickly glance at to see which option to pick for an explore encounter to get the most currency. All info is taken from the official Lioden wiki. This guide is going to prioritize getting Blood Beetles over getting Shards of Evil, Demonic Scales or Nepheline Feathers, but you might want to cater your own gameplay to what currencies you want the most of in this month especially, since there are so many different shops. It's my opinion as someone who has played for a while that buying Crunchy Worms with BB is probably the best thing to stock up on if you want to sell in later months for GB, but ultimately it's up to what your personal plans are, and maybe you want to buy a lot of Angelic Blessings or Shadows of Death, or get a lot of Shards of Evil so you can craft a Seduction applicator from those Invocation and Possession applicators! You can also get some BB every 15 minutes by Trick or Treating on people's den pages from Oct 25-31! (This has not been updated with the new encounters from 2020 yet, but I plan to do so this weekend!) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I haven't listed any of the encounters that do not require a choice/do not have a button to press. Blessing encounters with the Angelic Wings or Binding encounters with the Demonic Whip never gives BB, but gives DS and NF respectively without expending energy. These encounters can give currency, but have only one option and are not battles: Human Graveyard (gives +2 BB), Apocalyptic Battle (gives +1 NF or DS depending on allignment) These encounters are enemies you can choose to battle, and give various amounts of BB if won: Rabid Old Lion, Rabid Hyena Pack, Rabid Fallow Lion, Golden Rabid Lion, Rabid Painted Dog, Rabid Bat-Eared Fox, Nightmare Spider, Rabid Hunting Dog, Decaying Hyena, Rabid Hyena, Wraith Lion, Rabid Cheetah, Zombie Lion, Zombie Poacher, Rabid Brown Hyena, Rabid Lioness, Hellfire Hyena, Nirah, Rabid Arabian Wolves, Rabid Jackal, Rabid Red Fox, Werewolf, Griffin, Werelioness. (Werewolf, Griffin, and Werelioness only appear if you have rabies) Same as above, but only appear if aligned to Heaven and give DS as well: Banshee, Demonic Beast, Lamia, Rabisu, Hellhound, Chort, Sharabha, Sitri, Marchosias, Moloch, Rangda, Onoskelis (donkey legged demon), Bahkauv, Psoglav, Ghaddar, Tannin (sea monster), Rakshasa, Marax, Ördög. Same as above, but only appear if aligned to Hell and give NF as well: Lamassu Cherubim, Pegasus, Kirin, Aiatar, Nepheline, Maalik, Ariel, Barong, Talos, Haizum, Narasimha, Cernunnos, Lailah, Okó, Genius, Simurgh, Inanna (Mesopotamian goddess of war), Vanth, Ugallu. These encounters are enemies you can choose to battle, and do not appear to give BB if won, but do give +1 shards of evil if won: Nightmare Lion, Mummy Lion. These encounters never give currency, regardless of the option you pick: Decrepit Cave (gives cryptid decor rarely).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ (updated 10/10) Hey, just wanted to add a bit onto this, now that the wings and whip are unlocked. Here's a breakdown of what enemies give what amounts of BB if battled, to help make decisions as to whether you want to bless/bind or battle that npc! Mostly wrote this down for my own use, but I figured it may be useful to others as well. None: Nightmare Lion, Mummy Lion. +2 BB: Rabid Old Lion, Rabid Bat-eared fox, Rabid Brown Hyena, Nirah, Rabid Jackal, all demons and angels. +3 BB: Rabid Hunting Dog, Rabid Fox, Rabid Hyena*, Zombie Cheetah*. +5 BB: Werewolf, Griffin, Werelioness. +6 BB: Rabid White Lion, Rabid Hyena Pack, Rabid Fallow Lion, Rabid Painted Dog, Rabid Lioness, Rabid Arabian Wolves. +3-9 BB: Undead Wildebeest (if battled), Infernal Demon (if battled), Nightmare Spider, Hellfire Hyena, Hellfire Lion (if battled). +6-14 BB: Decaying Hyena, Wraith Lion, Zombie Lion, Zombie Poacher. * the wiki lists +6-14 BB for the Rabid Hyena and Zombie Cheetah, but I have been getting only +3 BB from them consistently 3 players like this post! Nice, I'm glad it's helpful! I haven't added all of the new encounters for this year yet, so you might come across encounters that aren't on the list yet, but I plan on adding them this weekend. I appreciate it though! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Just updated this with a list of what enemies give what amounts of BB! I figured that might be useful to help make sure people aren't blessing/binding enemies that can give a ton of BB if you battle them. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hey, I was wondering if the explore zone makes a difference in how many event encounters you get. Like, if there's more zone specific encounters could it maybe decrease likelihood of an event encounter? 0 players like this post! Like? |
