He wants to be good. He doesn't want to be the lion everyone thinks he is. A killer. He doesn't want to kill anyone.

He arrived in this pride. He wanted to kill everything. He was scared. He murdered his pridemate. He realised. He doesn't want death. He doesn't want his former self to be with him. He wants to start a new beginning.

His pride leader dies. All is quiet. All lions want him to be king.

He takes control. He's still afraid of his former self. He's afraid of what it might do.
