November Explore Encounters

This is meant to be a simple guide on how to get the most Scarab Beetles from explore. All of this info is available on the wiki, but the idea here is that you can look at this simple "cheat sheet" to quickly figure out what you should click without having to check the wiki each time.

This guide does not tell you what to click if you're on a quest: it's just for when you want to get the most ScB from a certain explore encounter under normal circumstances.

I haven't listed any of the encounters that do not require a choice/do not have a button to press.

These encounters give currency, but have only one option and are not battles: Burning Savannah (+1), Ancestral Mound (+1), Dead Antelope (+3), Sunset Totem (+1), Hollow Tree (+1), Old Wooden Poles (+2), Sphinx and Ahihia (+3), Tefnut and Tefnut (+1), Colorful Wooden Poles (+2), Aker and Erelath (+2 or nothing).
(some of these may show extra options if you're on a quest)

These encounters are enemies you can choose to battle, and give +1 ScB if won: Tsavo Lion, Graveyard Hyena Pack, Sorcerer Sphinx, Katanga Lion, Watusi Bull (gives +2), Transvaal Lion, Kalahari Lion.

These encounters never give currency, regardless of the option you pick: Digging Aardvark (gives fossils), Wounded Lioness, Ammonite Bank (gives ammonite fossil).

Erelath and Ahihia Arguing	Shoo them away	+2 ScB (Give Advice gives a random fossil)
Wheezing Antelope	Any	+1 ScB for both. Kill gives a carcass and Roar gives a phantom quartz.
Lost Cow	Any	+1 ScB for both. Kill gives a carcass and Roar gives a phantom quartz.
Humans Collecting Animal Bones	Charge	+1 ScB. Attack also gives +1 ScB, but only if you win and at an energy cost.
Erelath	Growl	+1 ScB. Teach him a lesson also gives +1 ScB, but only if you win and at an energy cost.
