I think when you turn a carcass that has 6 remaining uses into Rawhide, you should get 6 rawhide. It's a total waste of the food when you turn a 6 use item into rawhide and only get 1 out of it. Meanwhile, I can feed 5 uses of that item to my lions and then use the item that now only has 1 use left, to make rawhide. I don't understand the logic behind it, to be honest. It would make more sense to get 5 rawhides out of a carcass that has 5 uses. You can feed a lion 5 times, why can't you get 5 rawhides then? If the carcass is big enough to feed 5 lions, then it's big enough to get 5 rawhides out of. |

I believe You can only get one hide(skin) out of a carcass, but that same carcass can offer lots of meat for multiple lions.  0 players like this post! Like? |

i would support, cuz it would be easier, but rawhide is by the skin. A carcass only has one skin, unfortunately. I suggest crafting 1 carcass into several meat chunks and one rawhide instead 0 players like this post! Like? |

This is rather old and inactive but a carcass only has one skin and therefore one rawhide can be made so that's the reason you only get one . This is why it's recommended to use low use items like warthogs for rawhides or just simply feed lions to get the item down to one use before turning it into a rawhide . 0 players like this post!
