This is a feature that's supposed to provide a couple carcasses for your lions, but many times I only get 1 use carcasses. For 100sb it's definitely not a good trade off, since most food items cost 5sb per use. I think that they should be adjusted so no 1 use items that are small items except gmo chickens can be obtained that way. Like a dikdik carcass that doesnt fill a lion up very much, those kind of small items.
