What gameplay feature is this bug affecting?
Snake Game (Reptile Roundup)

What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible.
I never received any error messages for this glitch. There are two visual glitches (do not affect gameplay) and one glitch that does affect gameplay.

visual gitch #1
Occasionally, usually early in the morning (9 am EST), the "Desert" location or map does not load. This map is still playable, although the desert background is replaced with the murky grey background color. All of the obstacles (border rocks and the other obstacles found in hard and impossible mode) load in, causing the snake to be able to collide with them as it should. This glitch is visual only, and does not affect the other backgrounds. This glitch persists throughout gameplay and does not go away until reloaded

Visual Glitch #2

This glitch does occur by itself, but normally I have found that if the glitch described above (visual glitch 1) occurs, this glitch also occurs. This glitch involves a portion of the snake (any skin) being visible around the area where the snake first starts (upper left quadrant). I cannot provide any screenshots but essentially a portion of the selected snake's skin is "stuck" on the background. This protion is rectangular in shape (no head or tail designs) and is maybe...five blocks long (horizontally) and one block wide (vertically). Again this is only a visual glitch, and does not cause any issues with the gameplay. The snake will safely pass over any part of the glitched skin without colliding, as if it were part of the background. This glitch persists thoughout gameplay (any map, any skin) and does not go away unless the game is reloaded.

Gameplay glitch

This glitch occurs when I try to make a sharp turn (turning to go in the opposite direction within 4 tiles). Occasionally, when I attempt to do this the snake does not change direction and the game ends, as though I had collided with myself. I don't know if this is enough information for you, but that's really all I can find the words to describe.

uh...turn and then turn again quickly to make a 180 degree turn or U-turn
