ғɪʀsᴛ, ᴡʜᴀᴛ ɪs ᴀ sᴛᴀᴛᴍᴏɴsᴛᴇʀ?
A statmonster is any lion with extremely high stats. I will give a comparison with a lion from the group I will speak about here later: HOT HOT TATER TOT. Your normal rolled king has about 30 total stats, while HOT HOT TATER TOT has 14115 total stats. I think the difference should be really clear: HOT HOT's stats are MASSIVE compared to your normal king, like my current king Lighthaze. Yes, Lighthaze's stats are at 96, but he did start at 30 as a rolled king. He has just increased his stats, leveled up a bit, and there you go: higher stats without a statmonster.

HOT HOT TATER TOT is a part of the Big 4, which at this point has a lot more than four lions. So, I will refer to it as the Big Pride. All those lions have ridiculously high stats, form Indra to HOT HOT TATER TOT, to Moby Dick and The Savanna Prince. If you have a beautiful cub, perfect stud/reverse breeding material and Primal, but they have one of the Big Pride in their bloodline, they are dirty, even if there was no inbreeding whatsoever. So then you have to say they are dirty, which is pretty disheartening.

I personally say "Anything in the 1400 range of total stats", but there are exceptions. If, say, one stat is taking up most of it, I'll assume it was for some project, or was a "How high can this stat reach?" thing. I also personally excuse the Big Pride.

Hi, first I'd like to say I think a guide like this could be really good for the game, and a really great resource for newer players! However some of the information you have here looks to be either outdated, and I'm hoping I can clear some of that up as a player that has been heavily involved in the stat market and Clean Breeding playstyles.

Clean lions are determined in various ways nowadays, and the majority of the original style Clean Breeders only care about inbreeding, and not whether Big Four lions are included. I, and many others from the original Clean Breeding playstyle, do not class the "Big Four" as dirty, unless the lion in question is inbred. (Which some of the Big Four are, and do count as dirty for this playstyle!)

The clean playstyle you're talking about in your post is from the clan "Clean Line Felines." Their playstyle does not consider inbreeding as a mark against whether the lion is "clean" or not, and really just used that term for their playstyle without it meaning the same thing as the original clean breeders. It's not the same playstyle, does not require the same things, and should not be confused with the original Clean Breeding, even though the terms used sound similar.

Some players require both 'no big four' in addition to 'no inbreeding' to consider the lion "clean". This is a blend of the two main Clean playstyles (Clean Breeding and Clean Lines) and is not a standard style. This blended style is slowly growing more common, but is not as common as the two main Clean playstyles.

Also, if you're going to try to coin a new term (Big Pride) You'll want to make a list of exactly what's considered part of that in your definition. So who would you propose to add to the list? It's good to be thorough with such things, especially when trying to create a game guide, people really appreciate clear information. Especially since this is an attempt to add something into a particular clan's playstyle, you may want to consult with Clean Line Felines to formulate a list (I'm not affiliated with them, but they might have something to say about it, or some input to assist with the new list.)

Concerning what should be classed as "stat monster", several lions have now far surpassed HOT HOT TATER TOT's 14k stat range, some well into the 20k-30k stat ranges (and counting.) 1400 stats is not stat-monster quality anymore, hardly considered high-stat in most cases. (Having raised two high statters, 10k+ and 12k+, I'd say 10k is the low bar for "stat-monsters" now at best, with the new push into higher stat ranges being increasingly common.)

The bar for high stat subs is around 5k-6k+ stats now, with the only exception being heritageless groupies that have 1k-2k+ stats. Those are still considered as high stat since they start with Newly Claimed Lioness stats initially (they can't get much higher than 2.5k without a massive amount of effort, but it has been done.)

I'd highly recommend getting in contact with some clans focused on stat building (Stat for Days comes to mind as a fine example) and get some knowledge from them for your guide, should you want to flesh this out with up-to-date information!
