Okay, before this gets BLASTED a quick note: I am not on any means disrespecting any Artists. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️      Hear me out, I understand Art takes a long time. I draw a little myself (mostly hand drawing) and understand that small things take a long time. But I feel primals are not loved as much as other muties is because of not being able to customize it as much as the other lions in the game. I LOVE PRIMALS, its kind of an obsession, but the only things you can do with them is put markings on them. Most decor, does not work with Primal, Hybrids, or Dwarfs, and I feel like they deserve more. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ MY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO MOVE FORWARD *These are just ideas* 1: From this point forward (or maybe beginning next year) all *NEW* decor that comes out, should be able to aply to Primals/Dwarfs/Hybrids. This means, instead of rehauling THOUSANDS of decor...it would help be less time consuming to artists/coding. 2. Rehaul few ammounts of Decor per update/month/insert time frame here. So for example: The five decors above (in pictures) would be rehauled to work on primal/hybrid/dwarf varients next month. Then ANOTHER 5 the next month after. Or instead of every month...every 2 months. (Slowly but surely) 3. Hybrid/Dwarf/Primal EXCLUSIVE decor. Maybe per new update, exclusive decor is for these mutations. For primal examples maybe something like this Primal Felis: *Item name* This would help with only deisgning ONE decor per varient. Might be fun too. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ Please let me know what suggestion you think may work. Or the one that is most reasonable. These are just my opinions and again, no disrespect. Thank you :D |

Just an opinion and not blasting: This is why the Custom Decor item exists in Oasis: to order specialized decor. Each month we get to see some new bases. Not only that, but respective items/decor as well. Now, to be fair, there are some artists who do accept custom decor requests in the queue, so I guess you could say that yes, there is time to work and put some art in there. However, you also have to take into account how much work is being put into the site for each month, seeing as the artists have to plan ahead to make sure they meet the deadline of the next upcoming month. (As an artist myself, I can say for a fact that burnout sucks especially for deadlines. Even through it all, our artists pull through and do one hell of a job. Or that the ol "we would like this and that" when, they have work assigned to them that must come first for the site. ) I don't mind that the primals don't have the decor imo, and from what i've seen in chat, not a lot of people do either. By supporting our artists and the amazing work they do already, we can commission from the artists who do have some free time to spare, which could also help put less stress of the deadlines they have been assigned. (Also need to mention some of the special works that are in the background as well, such as male poses, etc.) No support, because the artists already have enough on their plate with what they have right now, taking RL into consideration, and are doing an absolute fantastic job as it is with the work they already have to do.  0 players like this post! Appreciate it! i understand there is Oasis Custom Decor. But IMO i dont think I should have to pay for VERY limited custom decor when...there is a bunch of awesome Decor already that ive paid for/got from events. Some custom decor is AMAZING, and the prices arent an issue, its the fact ive already paid for these things/from events, and i think *some* of them should work..when litterly none of them do. :) 0 players like this post! That's very understandable! Though by paying for the said custom decor, it's also supporting the artist who made it possible, until there is enough time gathered to get the Primal-specific items out into the Lioden world. ^^ I honestly get where the frustration is, only time will tell when the artists will have enough, well, time to be able to get them finished. Who knows? They might be working on them as we speak, along with some new stuff in the background, or even some old announced things in the works as well. 0 players like this post! Like? |
