My other suggestion would just be keeping everything as it is now, but making it so if a raffle lioness goes to someone who no longer plays after a few months of time goes by, then maybe that lioness should be re-raffled or given out again as a prize or something to someone who plays more often.

I know there are people who keep raffle lionesses frozen on side accounts or breeding partner accounts until they can get crunchy worms; if this is implemented and a lioness is frozen for a while it seems unfair that they risk the lioness being taken away from them simply for trying to maximize the potential clones.

Otherwise I do think that adding some more steps to claiming the raffle lioness is probably a good idea, if anything to make sure an active player gets her.

1. adding limits hardly makes it more fair, especially since there are already limits (must be dreamboat). everyone, who is dreamboat, gets an equal chance. that’s fair

2. it’s mentioned somewhere in the FAQ that raffling off someone’s lion’s just because they haven’t been on in awhile is something they will NEVER consider doing, as they shouldn’t. i was away from the game for years, if i came back and my lions (even if it was just the raffle lioness) were given away without my permission i’d be livid

both of these options sound the opposite of fair

@Grooky Thank for your suggestion, since you mentioned it I didnt think about side accounts, but thats why I mentioned the months part, I know some people can lose internet or travel, but you dont do those things for 2 or more months. So if a lioness sits there for 2 or more months I think thats when the lioness should be looked at and the admins could email the account and ask if they will be playing anymore. If not then they can take the RL and re gift her.

There's already a limitation, it's the dreamboat impression level limit. I feel like that's a very fair limitation, it gives players incentive to reach the dreamboat level and makes it so that only players that have played for a fair while (without dove feasts, it does take a while to get to dreamboat) can enter.
Players can play this game however much or however little they please, it's unfair to punish them because you feel that a lioness is 'wasted' by their playing style.

I get that, but considering how easily and how quick you can get to the Dreamboat impression, its hardly a limitation in my eyes. Your opinions are all valid, but I just think being only a Dreamboat isnt enough.

@Mizu, I kept my side frozen for about 7 months with some valuable lionesses so that I could breed them once I got breeding items on my main. It's perfectly reasonable to want to freeze your new special lioness so that you can save up to make her heats productive. Admins emailing you to ask if you're still playing so they can give away your lions is kinda ridiculous imo

As someone who has been playing on and off (but pretty actively the last year) since 2014, and has never won a raffle lioness, I completely understand where you're coming from.

But to be honest, I can't agree because at the end of the day this is just a game. These lions are just a collection of pixels. The point of Lioden is to HAVE FUN. It should NOT be stressful. For me, I want it to be an escape. I understand it's an honor and very lucky to get the raffle lioness, which is always made with lots of effort and care, BUT I think everyone should have a chance to win, no matter their activity level.

There's already SO much pressure to play this game super actively to be able to have fun here, because otherwise you have a hard time saving SB and GB or having the supplies to play successfully. And personally, that bothers me because some people simply don't have the time or energy or even technological access to commit the same amount of time. Sometimes I fit in that category, even though I've put 7 years into this game.

I really don't think it's a huge deal if someone gets the RL and then disappears. It's a game. Sh*t happens. We don't need to get upset or sad over some pixels . And who knows, they might come back in the future and seeing the RL in their den might make their day. And it might give them the opportunity, possibly as a new player, to create a successful den for themselves. But if that's not their goal, that is OKAY. If they don't come back, that's OKAY. And that is life. None of us know what tomorrow will look like and whether or not we'll be able to commit our time to this GAME.

I believe we should let people enjoy their lions, and do with them as they please :) Let's spread love, not exclusivity or competitiveness.

it’s SUPER unfair to take lions from someone because they’re taking a break just to give yourself an extra chance at a lion you wanted and lost. and you don’t know what they’re going through to cause them to take a long break, but it happens. i was on break for four years lol.

And thats fair, I also see where your coming from, my next suggestion would just be to maybe add more than one Raffle lioness a week. I mean like you said, you haven't won a RL in years of playing, and for players that are really grinding and trying to get the best of the best or get pretty lions, it doesn't seem fair that there's only 1 RL each week. With all the thousands of players trying to impress the ONE lioness each week, the actuall odds of getting it is under 1%. Maybe they should do more Raffle lionesses then

Raffle lionesses are MEANT to be rare and exclusive - I think adding more than one would (I don't know any fancy market terms) mean an overflow of their BO traits

I get that, there was no need for you to add that in, thank you. I know people go through stuff and take breaks, but if you have to restart the game and get all your lions and stuff again so be it. There is so many times I have had to restart accounts on games before because I was gone for a year or more, like Howrse for example. They just delete accounts if they arent active for too long, and I was only suggesting losing lions, not your whole account, so you would still have your account.

Also, I want to kindly point out that you've only been playing Lioden for 4 months. The fact that you haven't won a raffle lioness is completely expected, or in fact, almost guaranteed. It's just an aspect of the game that is what it is. It's been part of LD for YEARS. I suggest you stick around a little longer and rethink your concerns before suggesting a big change

Thats why these are all obviously suggestions, its just a thougtht that seemed more fair to me and I just wanted to put it out there for anyone else who felt the same way. I know I only been playing for 4 months and I havnt expected to win a lioness, I never said that I did expect to win one. I just feel bad for the people who have been playing for years and never won one.
