a heavy down pour has started in the territory's causing Heavy Flooding.

Training
Brook Star took her only other clan member a young Apprentice out in the heavy rain to a spot that was flooded but the water was moving much slower if at all she wades in beckoning her apprentice into the water
"Come Fish Paw time to learn to swim." Fish Paw was hesitant but wades in after her after a while of coaching Fish Paw seem to have become Pretty great at swimming.

Fish Paw has gained the Swimming Skill need 1/5 skills learned

The Hunt
The hunting part went out into the heavy rain hoping to have some luck. some cats came back with prey but a rush of water almost sweeps them away they drop there prey in favor of saving themselves from the current.

Watch the kits
Ice Gaze watches the kits closely as he keep them in the nursery den. The two kits look to each other silently agreeing it time to mess with the adult tom that's watching them. Ice Gaze looks away from the two kits only for a moment to watch the rain through the entrance of the den when two Moss Ball collide with his muzzle and face. He shakes his head to get rid of the sudden shock before looking at the two kits. who are currently a laughing mess on the den floor.

WHISKER CLAN
The Hunt
The Cats looked out at the rain before lookin at each other unsure if it safe to go out but the growing clan needs food. so they head out into the heavy rain it quickly soaking into their fur chilling there skin. with barley any luck finding prey they had back with there catch when a large rumble sounds overhead Mud and Flood water cascades down the mountain side right for the cats in shock and fear they drop the prey and dodge out of the way of the landslide. the look at each other making sure there all okay before quickly head back to camp before another disaster can strike.

The Training
Thistle Vine takes Two Paw to the medicine cats den. the rain to heavy outside of camp to teach the apprentice at the training area. so she does he next best thing. She take him to her den and lays out a series of herbs. Teaching the young cat how to properly take care of them.

OAK CLAN

A lone tom cat travels on weary paws. a whisper in the wind calling him like a voice of a distance ancestor. He follows the wind. with determined paw steps when he comes upon a Familiar looking barn. an old home forgotten memories surface only for a split second before disappearing once again. He steps inside the barn witch looks a little wore down than what he remembers, but it was home. he lays down in a pile of straw to rest his weary paws. exhaustion tugging him to sleep. when he opens his eyes a Starry figure that resembles his father stand before him. emotions well up inside the tom but before he can speak the starry figure voice echo through his ears in a calming manner.
"My son, you have arrived home at last, it is you duty to bring glory and prosperity back to Oak Clan, as my son you are destined to be a great leader with these nine lives i bestow upon you, i hope you lead with Compassion and Understanding, yet with an yet give Discipline to those who betray you. May you have great Wisdom and Determination to keep your clan safe. And with Faith and Honor in you ancestors, And keep your clan filled with Happiness and Hope for better times. I Give you your new name Maple Star, as you old one is now forgotten and i give you the rightful leadership of Oak Clan. Farewell my son I am proud of how far you come."
with the Maple Stars fathers voice fading he wakes with a start. looking around the barn with a new determined glint in his eyes ready to make his father proud.

As the weather moves cooler, the rains seem to have stopped, at least for this half moon. There is a shortage on water, which can cause prey scarcity, and your cats may have a harder time catching prey this half moon.

Reedstar walked carefully through the camp, trying to puzzle over what Starclan must be trying to tell him. Briarstorm had told him of the prophecy she had received, and the words had been echoing in his mind constantly. But that wasn't the worst of it. More and more of the clan had reported experiencing strange blackouts, where they had no memory of a certain time, or would wake up with wounds they could not explain receiving.

The most unsettling of all, was young Quailpaw, the night before she and her littermates were to be apprenticed. She had come charging back into the middle of the camp in terror, a cut sliced across her face. Briarstorm had done the best she could, but it was too late to save Quailpaw's eye. The cut that now scarred around the apprentice's right eye had blinded her in that eye.

But there was still hope. As Reedstar paused, looking over the camp, a small ruffle of wind picked up a set of leaves, guiding them across the entrance to the nursery, and then over to the apprentices den. It was almost as though the wind were confused, tugging the leaves back and forth. As though even the wind did not know which was the right call...

As Reedstar searched for clues, he saw a gust of wind guiding a cluster of leaves between the apprentices den and the nursery, perhaps this means something?

As Rainstar spoke with the spirit who had given her her lives, she felt the prickle of something watching her. She turned, cutting off the spirit, and stared. There, watching her from the edges of Starclan's plain, was a shadowed form watching her. As dark as the night sky, with soft speckles like stars swimming among the cat's pelt. "Who-" she started to ask, but the spirit spoke first, stepping around her and blocking her view of the dark-pelted cat. "She is not yet ready" they hissed, but as Rainstar tilted her head to see around the spirit's form, the stranger smiled, and replied "She may not be, but she must be. "
The newcomers gaze turned to stare at Rainstar, and the words echoed through her head, as well as in the air.

The rains will be snuffed out by fire, unless the earth rises to defend it, but beware, for the earth will not rise willingly.

Rainstar seems to have received some ominous words from the ancestors....

As Hazelnut made her way through the forest, following after the starlight, she felt as though something had changed. Despite her small stature, she ran freely and swiftly. The stars paused, and converged into a shining form, and Hazelnut skidded to a stop, ending by sitting before the spirit. "Hazelnut, this is where you will make your new clan. You have been chosen for this great honor, lead Lavenderclan to greatness

[ story ]

Maplestar sat with his tail curled over his paws. He was perched in the hayloft of an ancient barn, looking down at the empty wood floor below. Memories of cats swarming across the barn flashed through his memory, and if he focused hard enough, he could almost see ghosts of the past splayed across the present.

Maplestar breathed out a sigh, lowering his head, and squeezing his eyes shut. "They're just memories" he whispered, rising to all fours. "And memories can't touch me."

Padding across to the end of the loft, Maplestar made his way down the stairs, and exited the barn. He couldn't live alone anymore, there were too many memories lurking in the silence. But if there was someone else, well...at least it wouldn't be so quiet.
