A handsome red primal stalks into the cave, glaring mutinously at the cubs and adolescents rolling around in the dirt. "Good evening, my king, Leonek, sent me here to look over your cubs and see if there are any worthy of joining our pride. I apologize for my gruff demeanor, but my king doesn't often send me out so I am unused to dealing with other lions." He sits for a moment with his eyes closed, seemingly lost in thought. When he opens his eyes again, his expression is much kinder. "Alrighty, if you don't mind I'll be taking a look at all of the little cubbins now."

Acinonynx nods kindly. 'Go ahead,' they say, nodding at the cubs playing and adolescents making scornful noises and teaching them to fight better.

After carefully looking over each cub and weighing his options, the lion returns to you. "I apologize, I realize I never introduced myself. My name is Rusty. After careful consideration, I have decided which lions will be accompanying me to my pride." He points out one lion from each of the caves. "Those three if you please. I understand they will be fed and entertained before transport?"

Acinonynx smiled. 'Of course. We've found they get rather grumpy on the way there if we don't.' They whisper to Rusty. They walk over and look around. 'Which ones were they?'

Rusty leads you to each of the three cubs, smiling proudly as they recognize him.

Acinonynx bustles around a bit chasing down the cubs, but they couldn't seem to find the third cub, who had vanished rather thoroughly. They came back to Rusty with an apologetic expression. 'I'm terribly sorry, but the third cub appears to have vanished...' they say.

Rusty sighed, "It's quite alright, I understand. Thank you for your time my friends. Have a wonderful evening." He turned and left with the two cubs, his head bobbing up and down as he stooped to talk with them.

A red-furred lioness wearing ornaments made of wire and flowers walks into the cave. She greets Acinonyx and listens attentively to the rules before inquiring after a cub fairly nearby.

This was the place, alright. Young, ambitious, and full of vigor, the pastel-pelted felis strode into revered King Acinonynx's bustling den. It was full of cubs, and he had his mind dead set on taking one home with him. He sucked in a deep breath, puffed out his chest, and opened his maw to speak, but as soon as he did so, some little rascal ran claws-and-teeth-first into his hind legs, and all that came out of him was a sharp mrrow of shock. His stumpy tail lashed as he turned around to face the perpetrator and every smidgen of fury evaporated as soon as he laid eyes on her. The little thing shrieked with laughter, weaving figure eights in between Cyphrem's forelegs and head-butting his fuzzy chest. She was perfect, he decided. Absolutely perfect. Instead of speaking with the king, as any mature lion would do, he dropped into a sloppy hunting crouch and began to play with the sweet cub, nudging her with a gentle forepaw as she clambered onto his shoulders and started to nip at his ears.

Acinonynx nods with a smile. 'Certainly! She'll be sent over shortly,' they say, calling over Raniean to feed and entertain the cub before its departure.

Acinonynx smiled broadly at the felis lion. 'I suppose you'd like to take her home,' they say, tilting their head. They gently take the cub in their talons and carry her over to be fed and cared for. 'You should have a delivery quite soon.' they tell the other lion.
