A GUIDE TO LIODENS CROSSROADSCREATED FOR THE ADOPT A NEWBIE CLAN
HUNTING
Assigning The Hunter Role
First step to successfully hunting is applying the hunter role to your lionesses. There are two ways of doing this, the first is simply going to an individual adult lioness's page and scrolling down to the Update Lion tab. Click Hide/Show and select the role Hunter. The other way is to go to the Hunting tab in explore and scrolling down until you see the option to "Set All Lionesses to Hunter". After this the lionesses with the Hunter role will show up in your hunting list.
Creating a Hunting Party
This is optional but it can make organising hunts much easier. To create a hunting party visit the Hunting tab in Explore. From here there will be a tab up top called Your Hunting Parties, clicking this will take you to a page that will allow you to create, name and select up to 5 females for your party.
Hunting Zones
For each lioness being sent on a hunt you may select one zone to hunt in, meaning 5 lions allows you to select 5 zones. Hunting in different zones will yield different results. You can find the prey rarity and difficulty for each zone in the Hunting Prey List tab. Each hunt takes 30 minutes to complete.
Food Percentages
Carcasses That Refill 60% Hunger
Carcasses That Refill 40% - 50% Hunger
Carcasses That Refill 30% - 39% Hunger
Carcasses That Refill 20% - 28% Hunger
Carcasses That Refill 11% - 19% Hunger
Carcasses That Refill 1% - 10% Hunger
TERRITORY
What is Territory?
Territory is one of the most important things to acquire in lioden as the amount of territory you have determines the number of adult lions you can keep within your pride.
How to Acquire Territory
Each pride leader starts off with two 2 free territory slots. To obtain more there are two methods: fighting via Player vs Player (PVP) and paying and You can fight for all of 40 of your territory, or you can pay for 20 and then fight for 20. However, you can only buy up to 20 territory for Once you reach 20 territory, whether via PVP or paying for them, you must then PVP for your final 20 "free" territory slots. Once the full 40 territory has been acquired every extra slot after this costs 2
PvP for Territory
PvP is an option that can be found near the bottom of every player's den page. It costs 20% energy to attack and you have the choice between fighting for Skill, Experience or Territory but in this case we are only interested in territory.
Other players can only be fought for territory once per rollover, so if the option to fight for territory does not appear, they have already had someone else fight them for territory that day.
To find players for PvP simply visit the Territory tab in explore. This will show a grid of similar levelled players, with the difference being capped at 2 levels higher or lower. Be sure to try and pick males with weaker stats than your own to ensure a higher chance of victory! And don't worry, no loss will affect either player's territory count.
EXPLORING
Different Explore Zones
There 8 different explore zones for you to discover in the game with each one containing it's own unique set of encounters as well as being locked by a minimum level requirement.
Level 1: Temperate Savannah
Level 2-5: Shrubland
Level 6-10: Tropical Forest
Level 11-15: Dry Savannah
Level 16-20: Rocky Hills
Level 21-25: Arid Desert
Level 26-30: Marshland
Level 31+: Waterhole
(Note: Some links may not work if your level isn't high enough to enter the chosen explore zone)
How it Works
Each step taken in a zone costs a minimal percentage of your energy bar, usually about 1-3%. Some encounters may even replenish some of your energy while others will take more. Entering a NPC battle will always take 10% energy for a win, or 5% energy for a loss or retreat. While an encounter of claiming a lioness will take 0% as long as you do not initiate battle by slapping her. It takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes for your energy to passively refill from 0% - 100%
Benefits of Exploring
Exploring is a vital feature of the game as it allows you the opportunity to collect many useful resources, such as food, amusement items, cave/nesting/crafting materials, decorations and more! It is also a place to charm and impress Newly Claimed Lionesses, fight NPCs for and xp and collect special currency for active event shops.
