This is a suggestion to add more features to the already existing reverse studding feature. This would help alleviate potential scams for both the buyer and seller as well! I tried to see if this was suggested already and I couldn't find it on the forums, so if it has I apologize for suggesting it again! 1. Split Litter FunctionsThis would work as follows, with of course a different pricing option for split litters as opposed to a full one. Upon the lioness giving birth an option would appear for both the buyer and the seller to order the cubs in preference of which ones they would like. Then they would be automatically separated at 5 months old to the respective den of who picked them. Since all cubs are named the same upon birth there could be simply a check mark you click on to pick the cub where it states their ID so you wouldn't accidentally pick the wrong cub. Purchaser gets 1st & 3rd pick of the litter. Seller gets 2nd & 4th pick of the litter. This would go on so on and so forth for lionesses that have more than four cubs. For example, if a Lioness has 4 cubs, we'll call them by 1 through 4. I've listed them by color as to who would be receiving their desired cubs with green as receiving and red as denied. The buyer prefers to have the cubs in the following order: 3, 1, 4, 2 The seller prefers to have the cubs in the following order: 3, 2, 4, 1 In essence the cubs would be evenly split as follows: Buyer: 3, 1 Seller: 2, 4 Another Example The buyer prefers to have the cubs in the following order: 2, 1, 3 The seller prefers to have the cubs in the following order: 2, 1, 3 In essence the cubs would be split as follows: Buyer: 2, 3 Seller: 1 Should neither the seller nor buyer log on within the 5 days that it takes for the cubs to mature, a few things could occur. 1. The cubs and mother would be frozen on the mothers account until the buyer picks which cubs they would like. If the seller doesn't pick which cubs they would like before rollover they get the remainder cubs. 1.2 The same as the above however in the instance where only the seller picks which cubs they would like then the cubs are split in favor of the sellers preference. 1.3 The time could be extended to a period of 7 days/rollovers after the seller/buyer picks their preference instead of one rollover period. 2. The cubs and mother would be frozen until both parties decide which cubs they have preference for. Should aging stones be used on the cub(s), it could work as intended but without the 5 day wait, assuming that both buyer/seller have decided their order of preferred cubs. 2. Alternative StudThis would allow the player to send the reverse breeding request with a separate male that's not their own. The person who sends the reverse breeding request would be the one providing the sb/gb for the cost of the stud request. The person sending the reverse breeding request would also include the items to use for the stud in the reverse breeding request in addition to any items provided to the female. The male providing the stud doesn't receive any of the cubs as they're not the one requesting the reverse breeding. This would also be able to be paired with the above option to allow for split litters with an alternative stud. It would also apply to normal full litters. This could be done by maybe entering the studs ID to send the request to, or some other fashion that lets them accomplish this. Thanks everyone for reading my suggestion, and I'd love to know why you don't agree if you decide to press no! |
