Does CQ have an estimated lifetime? do you plan on having it for a year or two or hopefully ages like ten or so years (I doubt so though)? So I know how long I have to complete my goals

Ideally...I'd really like it to reach a long age. There's a couple of goals I'd like to see met, but everything hinges on the activity of the members (aka....y'all). If nobody wants to play, then what's the point in my continuing to run it?

Now, I've heard that similar games exist on other sites, and from a bit of research I've found that's true, and those ones seem to be absolutely booming. However, once I did the basic "Oh hey how do these guys operate?" I've basically ignored them, because I don't want any "hey that things way to similar, PLAGARISM" accusations, as an art student I'm painfully aware of plagiarism, even of the accidental kind, so I figure as long as I mostly ignore them (at least for the time being), I can't be accidentally influenced by anything that they do.

Some things are going to be similar, there's nothing new under the sun, there's...really only so many ways for mechanics for this kind of a game to work, but I'm going to do as much as I can to keep the games from stepping on each others toes (being on different websites aside).

And speaking of other websites, one of my dreams would be for this game to be popular enough that I DO bring it to other sites, I haven't been very active on Wolvden in a while, but I may try to pick up my activity and see if anyone over there would be interested in this game :3
EDIT: Just did an interest check and got two users right off the bat, so this weekend I may get started on a transfer to have basically two duel versions of the game running

Would dual membership be allowed if you started a Wolvden version and it’s more parallel than an add-on? I’m active over there too. Obviously my clans wouldn’t share resources or anything like that.

I wouldn't have a problem with it, and honestly it's more of an add-on, the only requirement I would have for duel clans, is that they cannot share borders (to encourage different types of terrain and whatnot, despite sharing the same map) and they have to constantly be at neutral status with each other, that way you aren't starting war or trading resources with yourself :D

Short answer, Yes! The map would be shared, so wolvden clans and Lioden clans would share the same map, and be clearly visible to one another, you would also be able to set up alliances between sites, so long as you were able to reach out to the wolvden user and explain that your clan was hosted on Lioden, and they don't have a problem with it :D

Christmas Stud
Meet Reindeer!

His twolegs have brought him to the clans territory for a camping trip (as ive realized there are no twolegplaces on the current map so that'll get added into the first map expansion), and he's looking for a good time this holiday season!
