I have an announcement...it is not entirely a fun one.

I've just been informed that a friend of mine has tested positive, which means that I'm being sent into quarantine for exposure. Replies will not be coming today most likely, it depends on how crazy everything goes as it's a 4 hour drive back to where my parents are.

So here's what's gonna happen:
I'm going to be packing like MAD to go home. Thankfully my spring dorm is going to be the same room I'm in right now, so I don't have to deal with my mini fridge or microwave. However I do need to pack some things so that's what I'm about to leave to go do.

When I'm done packing, I'm going to eat lunch, and finish the medicine list, at the very least with the herbs on the warriors wiki.

I am also at this moment, now going to allow you guys to fill out the below application, to decide the first mod. Since there's only a few clans who regularly post, we're going to have a three part competition to decide the first mod.
First: The application below, fill it out with complete honesty! This shows me the basics
Second: An advertisement contest, within Lioden, I want y'all to reach out to anyone you know who likes Warriors, and share this game with them. Tell them that in their starting post they need to say who introduced the game to them, so that I can keep track of this. This helps get the word out about our game, and shows me that you'd be a good people person! Please don't pester people though, if they say no or don't respond, do not spam them!!!!! We don't need anyone getting in trouble ^^
Third: A mechanics test. I want anyone interested to choose one of the following items off my To-Do list, and create a mockup of how the mechanics for it could work. This shows me that you'd be able to help with the mechanics and all of that. The amount of stars represents how difficult I imagine it being.

@Chai - So the genetics guide I do have on the drive is the absolute bare bones, and a fairly decent starting point (I'd like to think anyways) if you want some reading material let me know (this goes for everyone) I'll dm you the sites I've been using.

Honestly my biggest thing on how much do you know is: Are you willing to put in the effort to learn at least the stuff needed for this game, and what is your starting point so I know what you would need to learn

Alright, I'm decent with tabbies and know that the male calico/tortie thing is rare either chimerism or a mutation causing an extra chromosome, and know the male kittens/kits are likely to be like the mother, I understand blue eyes and how they appear.

Alright everyone, study day has hit me and so finals week has officially begun.
I am sorry about not getting a reply up, I will do that today, and there will be a reply on Sunday as well, then the next one will not be until Wednesday after I take my last final.

How active are you on Lioden: I log in every day, But sometimes I might take a break every now and then for a few days
How often could you reasonably do replies: maybe once a week? depends on how many clans, cats are in every clan and if and breeding is happening so I can calculate the kits
How well do you know cat genetics: decently, I'm learning new things about it whenever possible
Anything else you think I should know: I'm checking your google doc about genetics, I'm coming back to it every day, to see if you changed anything, I'll come to you if I have any questions. But can I help with event/raffle cats? If you can't go because you're busy I'd love to be able to make an event/raffle cat for a bit!

also, how are genetic codes here formatted? where is the coat colour? where is the colour point? where is the mutations? (if any)

So the default / included in everyone is: agouti, ticked tabby, spotted tabby, mackerel/classic tabby, base color, dilution, fur length, white spotting

the "extended" order is:
Agouti | bengal tabby mutation (if applicable) | ticked | spotted | mackerel / classic | point markings (if applicable) | base color | color mutation (if applicable) | dilution | Fur length | white spotting | tail mutation (if applicable) | ear mutation (if applicable) | size mutation (if applicable)

So dilution has its own section, and sorties are covered by base color, a color mut is something like an albino, or a melanistic mutation :3 It would also refer to chimera mutations :D
