Gifting and pooping are kind of unbalanced when karma is brought into it and there are lopsided rewards. The mechanics are fine, except for the karma gains and losses. If you want to get Festive base, you have to gain 888 karma, and to lose that karma again, you theoretically have to poop 888 people as well. Pooping isn't rewarded, which makes sense since it doesn't require you to gift an item- but it makes it unfair for bad karma kings.
There's two seperate solutions I'm proposing for this.

Remove the karma gains/losses. The mechanics are fine, but now it's fair for good and bad karma. Only downside I can really think of this is that pooping won't reward you with anything.
OR rehaul the mechanics entirely.
Gifting is split into two different options:

The regular gifting option with the same flavor text and good karma gain.
Success! You have left a gift for this player. You walk away feeling all warm and fuzzy inside! +1 karma

And a seperate option with different flavor text- mechanically the same- and bad karma gain.
Success! You've left some nasty trash for this player to find. You're a rotten one, Mr. Lion. -1 karma

Bad karmas' flavor text is just an idea but that's the gist of it. They can both count towards Festive base, or bad karma could have a seperate base- but that's getting offtopic. This idea retains the karma gains and losses but makes it more even.
As for the Stink Bug gains randomly from poop- it could be changed that gifts have the same chance to drop Stink Bugs as well, or the pooping mechanic can be kept, just seperate from the two gifting options & without karma loss.
