I love making raffles, but as a forgetful person I sometimes leave out some good ticket options, or I just forget to change the date I want the raffle to end on. Here’s my idea: What if you had a set period of time after the raffle is created to make ONE edit. How would this work?? Example 1: You forgot to change the date on your raffle. You have X hours to fix it really quick without having to re-create your raffle. Example 2: Shoot! You forgot to add that decor as a ticket option. No matter, you still have that window of time to quickly throw it in. Good luck! Example 3: You’ve already used your edit, but the window is still open. Hm, sadly any more edits cannot be made, your participants may become annoyed with all the changes. We don’t want that! Example 4: You forgot multiple ticket items you wanted for this raffle? Well, so long as you haven’t used your one edit and the editing hours are still open, hurry and add them in!! - This would mainly impact raffle creators positively, it gives them a chance to correct mistakes without having to cancel it altogether and build it again from scratch. Using the editing-window idea, this idea wouldn’t impact raffle participants very much. Since creators would only have a few (I’m thinking 6 at the most) hours to make changes, it’s unlikely that many participants would be affected negatively by the quick change. - If you notice other flaws or have additional notes, feel free to let me know :) |

Maybe allow ticket holders to get a refund within x amount of time following an edit if they don't like changes made to the raffle for whatever reason? Supported! ![]() |

Oooo yes!! Maybe with the edits made it sends a notification to current participants letting them know of the changes, and then they have some time to review/withdraw? Thank you! :D ![]() |

I'm neither with, nor against this. The positive thing is the editing idea itself, but i doubt youll get loads of tickets within a mere 6 hours that affects whether you should or shouldn't re-do the raffle altogether, even if it's a first gen, clean hybrid that is like 0 months old. The negative thing is that it does seem unnecessary. people who set-up raffles have a responsibility to double-check that they are happy with their raffle, if they don't then it's on them. If they forget something, and they know they have forgotten something, I'd suggest waiting to make the raffle until you remember, or just write down what you want the options to be. Another negative thing of this would be that they'd LOWER THE TICKET PRICE. For example: A hybrid raffle is going on, and the ticket prices are 1GB/1000SB. The host then lowers the ticket price after getting a certain amount of tickets after advertising a lot over a few hours before the cooldown ends. imagine the SALT and drama this would create. ![]() |

Refunding tickets isn't allowed for a reason even if this is implemented, staff would not allow it. edit; and again, imagine the salt if you missed that and the example above happened. ![]() Edited on 30/01/22 @ 11:26:16 by Rufus [Temporary Hiatus; firm] (#177615) |
