So I am not super privy to battling in general; typically there's not a lot of reward for it and it takes up 10% of my energy. Enter this guy: Look at how many HS he has. We have to spend a minimum of 10 energy just for the chance at 1 measly heart shell? At least if we decide to fight these guys: we have the chance to win up to FOUR HS. Like yes, it's not a guarantee, but if I'm using 10 energy I'd rather it be on the chance to win 4 HS than on just 1 HS every time. I just end up skipping the hoarding lion fight encounter because it really seems like a waste; I suggest one of two things: 1. Increase the amount of HS you can win from 1 to a minimum of 3 HS (He's hoarding, he can afford to lose at least 3) OR 2. Give an option to not fight and instead "Ask for advice/tips" about how he got so many HS already. Maybe a flavor text like, "You stare at the pile in amazement as the lion stares back at you, terrified that you'll try to steal his precious bounty; however, you don't want to steal, you just want to know how he accumulated so many in such little time! You two spend some time discussing tactics of gathering heart shells, the use of roasted lambs vs red bulls, and pick up some new tips from him. As a thank you for not trying to steal from him he gives you a few from his pile and you go on your way. What a generous fellow! Guess he's not as much of a hoarder after all! +2 HS (or something like that) Thoughts on this? If you agree great, and if not please let me know why Thank you! -------- Support adjusting the Hoarding HS Lion encounter! https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429442876&page=1 |
