Edit: make sure you join my clan and itβs discord! We talk about this theory on the discord occasionally! π Link : https://www.lioden.com/clan.php?id=3313 Discord link is in clan description I have a theory that I am currently testing and that is that lion meat has a component in hybrid heats. I know what you're thinking, that lion meat only increases the chance of a random mutation, and I thought so too until recently. Below are the links to my only two hybrids who I'm experimenting on: #1, pepto bismol: https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794156213958 #2, artemis: https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794157008128 and an extra one from a recent heat i donated a bark too, that also used a lion meat. https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794154032642 Pepto bismol's second heat used a buffy and a lion meat, and she had LEOPON TRIPLETS. Artemis has not been used in this experiment yet. Tigon used a buffy and a lion meat, produced 1 tigon. i will update as i breed them... if you would like to contribute, these are the things needed. unbarked hybrid heats buffalo scrotum yohimbe barks ibfβs and, of course, LION MEAT. also, i'm doing barked heats of both of my leopons with no extra fee. if you are interested heres the topic link: https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429443858 all that i ask is that you additionally provide a lion meat if you use their heats, for the ongoing continuation of this experiment. this will become part of the requirement. Their heats will only be public until march 1st. Should a lot of people begin donating and i see this experiment is really working, i may include a hybrid giveaway though im not sure yet. if i get 3 + hybrids iβll definitely do a giveaway, but the giveaway will only be for people who donate. if you use this theory please let me know what your results are. thanks! 2 players like this post! This is so far only anecdotal evidence. I've never used Lion Meat on a hybrid and got hybrid twins 6 times already. But that's anecdotal evidence too. You would have to breed large amount of hybrids (at least 100) to have results that have some relevance. And you have to use same items each breeding. You should also make all hybrids used in experiment have the same fertality. Or you could just write Modbox ticket and ask But I'm curious so subscribing. 0 players like this post! Like? And well, personally I'd say you'd have to do the equal amount, same fert, and same items (minus LM) as well so you can compare the results. You do one set of maybe 100 with the LM and items, and then another set of the same amount of hybrids without the Lion meat for more accurate and results that give you an accurate answer. It's basic practical work when you do science class over in Britain, we always do two sets of the test so we can compare them (we also do each set 3 times for a more accurate average). Ofc, as time goes we will slowly get to our goal and figure out what to do from a certain point 1 player likes this post! Like? |

thanks for all the advice guys!! im using evidence from other hybrid breeders as well. if you guys could use this theory and share the evidence with me it would help tremendously. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Just reminded myself about this earlier today. The reason it increases the chance is because the lion meat rolls first, and if no mut is produced, the normal cub roll is rolled second i believe. I think that's how that works anyway. 0 players like this post! Like? |

^^ correct. However, it is still technically a theory when it comes to hybrids passing their mutation. Still is a working theory if it helps a hybrids mutation roll twice instead of once. lioden team swears it doesnβt work but Iβve seen too much success with it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Mhm. It's still a slim chance, but it still rolls, so technically it does help, but it helps get a random mutation;but it has been a hybrid more than not tbh. 0 players like this post! Like? |
