Tentatively no support. I do get your point and I dont mind the current cub pose, but i'm just not sure I support this? I dont necessarily not support either but for now I think thats going to be my opinion. More cub poses would be very cute though. I guess the best way i can phrase this is neutral but leaning on not supporting, sorry.

I do think its a classic! and i think the new pose would have to be bought along with the cub stages, and even then it could be a thing you turn off. Just for the ones who like the pose

i do love the idea but im unsure bc it would be hard to implement and the og artist may not like it

I’m no supporting, specifically for the reason that it isn’t… needed? Not only has Xylax stated in the past that we are never going to have changes to the original Linearts (which is why female poses, Lineart changing mutations and cub poses exist) but because on top of drawing a new Lineart, he would also have to draw every single marking, every single base, every single eye color, and every single decor in game for it again.
Just a lot of art when we could have male poses instead :(

ill be honest, while most may see it as mean to the og artist... a lot of art on lioden is a bit outdated, and the artist knows that. I cant say this for the artist but I wouldn't be angry at all if i was asked to redraw or redo something i drew a long time ago, especially if my art looked as good as xylax's did now!

It’s not about being upset, it’s about the workload. There are thousands of markings, hundreds of bases, and hundreds of decors that he would have to redo for no reason other than aesthetic. Which is, again, why Cub poses were implemented- it’s a cosmetic choice that lets you bypass the default cub art between 0-5 months.

I have to agree with Lex - I just don't think at all that this is worth the colossal amount of work it would be, tbh. There are literally so many thousands of files that would have to be redone, and compared to something completely new and anticipated like male poses I don't think this is a worthwhile focus for the art team to spend their limited time and resources on. Sorry, no support :(
