Hi!

This is probably going to sound awful since you're a new player. However, letting the little one die is your best bet. Lethals get stored in the pride dynasty (you'll have to hit the "store" or whatever button after he dies on your pride dynasty page) and then you can resurrect him as a frozen lion with a Canopic Jellyfish. They tend to run a lot cheaper than the Jellyfish.

Plus if he's stored in your pride dynasty, you don't have to be in a rush to freeze him - his records won't go anywhere once they're saved unless you manually delete them.

I thought cubs don't get stored in the dynasty since they're too young? Unless lethals are an exception but I haven't heard of that

Edit - just looked it up, and looks like lethals do go to the dynasty. Neat!
