Moondrop's Rehoming Center


You pad up to the den, inspecting the handmade worn wooden sign outside that reads “Moon Drops Rehoming Center”. Huh, well you suppose it won’t hurt to just take a small look around.

You pad inside quietly, looking around as you enter. Beads…beads everywhere. It looks like a bead explosion happened inside the den; beads are all over the floor, with little cubs batting them around like toys, and there are beads stuck to the walls somehow…you don’t want to know what that sticky stuff is.

You hurry forward, hoping none of the many, many cubs running around don't decide you're a toy. You get the feeling that they are the reason for the bead explosion.

In the center of all the madness is a lioness with grey-ish silver hair and a silky mane, which cubs have taken to cuddling up against once they’ve worn themselves out running around like mad men. The lioness doesn’t seem to mind the cubs around her, though, as the one, single cub who isn’t running around or sleeping carefully threads beads onto a little string in front of her.

“Oh, hello there!” The lioness greets, looking up from the little cub and their project. “Sorry about the mess, after they basically destroyed the den with paint, I thought beads might be less chaotic… I don’t think they’re really understanding the idea here” She grimaces, glancing out at all the little cubs playing around the den.

“Uh” you say smartly, eyes flicking over to the beads stuck to the wall and tangled in the little cubs fur. What could be worse than this? you shudder.

“I am Moon Drop” She introduces herself, gently pushing the cubs off her back and rising to her feet. “Not to be confused with my twin Sun drop, who runs the boutique. It’s confusing, I know” She rolls her eyes in amusement, and you get the feeling that the two get mixed up often. Actually, that makes sense with them being twins and all “And this is my Rehoming Center. Most of the cubs here are looking for a new home, feel free to have a look around” she continues, gently tapping the sleeping cubs to wake them up.
