I'm sorry for your loss. But maybe you can make a new birthday ritual in memory of her, you have a child right? Maybe take them to breakfast and have a cupcake placed in a seat for your mothers memory. I used to go to the cinema on my fathers birthday and deathday (Day he died) Because that was something we did together every week, it was my way of remembering him. It helped me a lot with grief.
