Wenet cousins have way better traits, and they all look unique! If you're lucky, you can even get rare combo or BO base Wenet cousins, and many come with breed only eyes, and a number of breed only attributes. A lot of them have breed only raffle markings while wenet lacks them and can only have the onyx base.

it's all up to the user as to which one they want. this is the only time of year you get NCLs with 10x markings so it is quite special.
i prefer to chose wenets cousin over wenet herself because wenet's design is already pre determined. every wenet looks the same, but every cousin is random and unique. sure, there is a gamble on what the cousin will look like, but there is also more variety in the markings, bases, etc that you might get. they might not be "anything great" but some could say that wenet isnt great due to the fact she is the exact same clone for every user that picks her.
wenet is great if you like how she looks and don't want to chance the rng. cousins are great if you want to gamble at the exclusive markings and the pool of traits. they are both great options regardless, just comes down to personal preference
