The Poetry Workshop Poetry expresses your words in a way that you can't imagine. It sings through the air, like a heavy breeze. It brings out your emotions, in words that tangle together. An art form but in words, writing and bonding as you write them all down.
I can write poems for your lions, characters, and more! It can be anything from a peaceful poem, to a scary one.
Examples: All of them are based on a true story/feeling:
Broken Friendship Family
Four gathered souls
Met across the world
Formed a bond
And created a family
A prairie roams
Beneath the sun
When rain comes we sway
And it all goes away
Months go by
Things started to turn
Little by little
Trouble comes to view
Things then turns toxic
As the prairie turns into wasteland
It’s no longer safe
It’s no longer peaceful
Conflicts start often
And the family begins to break
One member leaves
And the family shattered to pieces
What was once a full, happy family
Quickly turned into eden
Nothing is ever the same
As we accept it all
Looking back, missing the past
I wish the family would be whole again
Dream Wonderland...or is it?
Laying down feels like an eternity
Closing your eyes feels like a weightless ride
Traveling through worlds that ended up painfully
Hurling through the mind as your blood pumps
Felt trapped through pain and fear
Felt abducted through guilt and shame
Felt in a world in endless cycles
Felt there is no escape, only corruption
A world in your mind stands no peace
A world where your biggest fears come alive
A world full of chaos and destruction
A world that only brought back bad emotions
Once you open your eyes
Everything goes away like it was never there
But I know something is wrong and I can feel it
But I can't control any of it as its stuck in my mind
So I wait for every night
For the dreams to come back
To haunt me in endless cycles
All alone in deep darkness
Hidden Away
A single dream hazing through your mind
WOndering the hidden meaning, it holds
As the weight grows heavier day by day
Questions and confusion only appear
Every night it piles up
The dreams always never back down
A world full of thoughts and feelings
All soon can become reality
You become trapped in your own dreams
Unable to escape, unable to think
Your mind controls yourself in every action
In the world it makes as reality
Breaking out isn’t easy
Walking through the thick black walls
Is it even possible to escape?
Once I discover the truth, I’d be free
Forgotten Memories [TW: Can be sensitive to others]
Glance deep, no more
Once bright, is now dull
Fears appear and disappear
Nothing is the same in dreams
The kind of glass shatters beneath you
Want to fix, but afraid to fix
A single cut bleeds your emotions
The broken glass lies away you go
A single accident becomes multiple
Blood runs down your hands
The glass goes dripping red
Reflecting on your memories
Each shard is a forgotten memory
Each shard becomes a nightmare to fix
A fix can never be fixed completely
But when left as is, it gives your fear
Thousands of shards, thousands of memories
Trauma, drama, v**lence, ab**e, grief, loss
Forming a wall of broken memories
Fearing for your life, as they consume you
Deep yourself, you open your eyes
And find yourself taunting in your dreams
As every memory slowly comes to life
You’ll wish you’ve never been alive
Mental vs Physical
Wide awake with a happy life
The morning gleaming with the warmth
Can soon become bitter cold
As the days get harsh
Sleep away, it's a different life
Trapped in one’s own adventures
With own facing the brutal reality
Of one’s own life, of one’s own soul
Waking up is a symbol of hope and loss
A day of school or work can be tiring
But that tiredness turns on one
And brings you to another torrid journey
One can lose itself in this mind-crushing maze
That brings one down to the deepest levels
Mentally broken as is in this world
But when awake, everythings fine
A normal life when awake
A dark life when asleep
Affecting one’s life on both ways
As it goes on a cycle forever
