This is (LOOSELY) based off of my adoption thread located here! This will be edited lots before I am satisfied with it, but ya know! This is where the RP will happen, I request that we try to keep OOC chat in the OOC forum, but I won't enforce it too hardcore. Some Rules: - All 18+ actions are to be fade to black - nothing involving minors and adults - Please put a warning before any gore, mutilation, or descriptive harm (self or otherwise) - Do not have a response that describes how someone else's character reacts UNLESS this has been previously okay'ed by the original player Each pride will be listed with a link to their respective page in the R&T Prides Forum. It is up to the creator of said pride to update it as people join! However, if they are anything like me, they may need occasionally reminders lol. But don't be pushy!! I will try to update this ASAP as people join and switch up their roles as well!! As a reminder, I would love people joining my pride just remember that the lion/lioness either HAS to have a mutation or fake it somehow to be allowed in the pride. That is just how my lore works for my pride  Prides: SUNBAKED - Mongoose FAZING ECLIPSE - Turkey CAVEWALKERS - Alex BARLEYPLAINS - Tea LUSHPELT - Frostblight CELESTIAL/LUNAR - Avi Wanders/Rogues Death's Escaper (Death) (Turkey) Ꮺ Miles (Miles) Jester (Self Proclaimed Prophet) (Rayb1rd) Angus (Tea) Milzos (Randomness) Tiny Nutbar (Randomness) Ghost (Tea) Marlboro (Alex) Bubbling Spring (Spring) (Ryoka) Eagle (lilpeep) Zebra (Zeb) (lilpeep) Faron (Tea) Major NPCs: - Albion: a mandrill who keeps a few falcons and bats he has trained to help see if anyone has mutations and the size of the litter to be expected. He lives out near the Oasis that is unclaimable by any prides. That is monkey only territory. Talus watches their interaction, trying not to show how unsettled he is by the whole thing. Why is he doing that with his nose?... ...Well, he is a healer. He noses into his bag, grabbing an herb and dropping it in front of him "Uhm...this is uvuma. Some have luck chewing it to calm themselves...it won't make bad things go away, but maybe it makes them easier to manage." He gives a nervous smile "Afyasi calm you. He slinks into the spot beside Coyfish as his King goes toward the den. "My King, what are yorr thoughts on the newcomers? I heard waht the primal said, if its true he'll fit right in here." Lashpaw keeps his head respectifully low but tries to make eyecontact with his king as they walk. Coy let me keep her. I get to raise her. Her name is Silver." HE says, and there's a genuine soft smile to the lion. Harbinger looks at the herb before quickly picking it up and beginning to chew on it. The effect doesn't kick in right away, but a placebo sure does as his muscles relax and he looks instantly less agitated. "Tastes surprisingly nice." He mumbles around the root. He then turns and begins walking out, making sure the other two are following him. He trots past the border of the camp and then slips between a thicket. The branches are thick and sharp, snagging strands of fur and tugging them loose. It is obvious that Harbinger has trouble getting through due to his size, which means Coy would never be able to ((just in case  )). It is a swampy marsh, the ground sinking beneath your paws. It smells of mud and bog water, but there is an unbelievable amount of green here. It is enclosed within a mossy cliff face, the trees overgrown and heavy with vines and lichen. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Moogly gasped, "He's letting you raise a cub?" Her voice was thick with awe and, yet, there was also fear. Was this somehow a test? She shivered, "Jack, whatever you do, do not bring her here. Do not risk yourself and her. She will need you if she is going to be better than the rest of them. Please." She didn't want him to stop visiting, but she also couldn't risk that poor cubs life. She knew that others were more important to Jack and so she hoped that bringing Silver into the equation was enough to make him protect himself. 0 players like this post! Like? |

And watching you struggle, anyone bigger would have to hard a time getting in." he says to the other lion. Talus slips into the marsh much more easily than the two larger lions. He gasps in surprise and joy at what he sees. So many plants! So much green! He immediately hops around in the mud, carefully digging up herbs to stow in his pouch. He is smiling happily now, basking in the feeling of safety this place provides. 0 players like this post! Coy Fish Coy Fish looks at his guard, a grin on his muzzle, "I think they are liars. I don't know what about yet, but with how that patched was looking at the primal...there is no way they knew each other." He rolls his shoulders, gaze going back ahead, "But I could be wrong. Find out for me, would you? And keep a close eye on them. They should all be in the scouts den, if they aren't trying to hide." He growled at the end. It was true that lion's meat messed with the brain of whoever ate it, and as it was Coy's main source of food...well, he hadn't been all there since he was a cub. Harbinger He slow-blinked at Talus, but the mood quickly soured when Knaw reminded him why they were truly here, "You're right." He sighed, laying on his side in the driest spot he could find (it wasn't dry), "You need to be careful, if Coy senses any hint of rebellion or disobedience, he isn't afraid to help you 'learn some manners'." He rolled onto his back, yawning, "Killing is one thing, scavenging another, but killing to eat?" There was a horrified look on his face, "That is something entirely different." He chewed harsher on the herb in his mouth, crushing it between his teeth and licking his lips. Moogly She bit her lip, "I would love to meet her, but I am glad you understand." She demurred. She flinched as one of the other lionesses walked by- a huntress by the scars on her body. She pays no mind to Jack, seeing herself as above him due to her own mutation. When she's far enough away, Moogly lets out the breath she was holding. "You will get free, I know you will. You and Silver, you'll make it to somewhere beautiful. Maybe even start a pride all your own." She wipes some tears from her face, her heart longing to be able to leave with Jack, to run away NOW. Knawbones looks him dead in the eye. "What do you mean by helping us 'learn some manners'?." He starts when he realized what Harbinger said, "Do you mean thats all he eats? Ill eat what i cAn find and on occasion thats lion but eating it in quantity fucks with you. Its the reason were warned away from it as cubs." He clicks hic claws against a stone. If thats true its concerning. Any lion who eats that much of another lion goes crazy eventually, its the reason he only eats it whe nhe doesnt haave much a choice. He turns to talus, "I know it seems weird but if were staying we need to watch out for eachother. You know what happes to lions like him eventually. Ill do my best to watch your back," he looks at Harbinger and then back at Talusstepping closer and lowers his voice, "I know we havent know each other long but please go with me one this. Its no use trying to help if we die in teh process." Knaw turns back to Harbinger, "Is there anything else pressing we need to know?" 0 players like this post!
