This is (LOOSELY) based off of my adoption thread located here! This will be edited lots before I am satisfied with it, but ya know! This is where the RP will happen, I request that we try to keep OOC chat in the OOC forum, but I won't enforce it too hardcore. Some Rules: - All 18+ actions are to be fade to black - nothing involving minors and adults - Please put a warning before any gore, mutilation, or descriptive harm (self or otherwise) - Do not have a response that describes how someone else's character reacts UNLESS this has been previously okay'ed by the original player Each pride will be listed with a link to their respective page in the R&T Prides Forum. It is up to the creator of said pride to update it as people join! However, if they are anything like me, they may need occasionally reminders lol. But don't be pushy!! I will try to update this ASAP as people join and switch up their roles as well!! As a reminder, I would love people joining my pride just remember that the lion/lioness either HAS to have a mutation or fake it somehow to be allowed in the pride. He lives out near the Oasis that is unclaimable by any prides. That is monkey only territory. Lashpaw|Marching Lash looked over at Hyena when she grabbed his attention. He barely saw the femer bone sticking out of her wraping but he knew, no matter what that it would end Coys life one way or another. The king he new and loved was dead, if not now then later and part of him mourned Coyfish already. Lash knew it was for the good of the pride, of everyone involved but he couldnt help but feel like it was a monumental waste of life. " I don't understand.. You're mad at me because I invited two of my friends and you to breakfast? " He repeats. " Elvira- come on now.. You know as well as I do that they were just being friendly! That's how they've always been! " He explains with a sigh. " But- I'm more than open to spend more one on one time with you.. if.. if that's what you want." Raughan |Sunbaked: Marching It had been about two days since Raughan had snuck out of sunbaked territory, giving the brood mothers the excuse of him and some guards going on a hunting trip lesson that was planned by Coy. At first, Raughan had begged his father to see the war but was instantly dismissed and confined to the royal den. This angered him greatly, the future king and heir to the thrown not being able to participate in battle, how absurd. Now here he is, hiding in the dense, tall, dry grass and being only able to hunt small prey like mice or rats. There had been moments where Raughan regretted leaving sunbaked, mostly at nighttime or when his belly yearned for food. The long days of walking made him tired often, having to exert himself to keep up with the others. When he grew hungry and couldn't catch anything he'd imagine the tasty meals back at home while chewing on nut grass. Or when the dark, cold night approached with its howling noise and the cold breeze making him want to snuggle up to his mother's side. Lucien | Mangrove She ran to his side once again after Harris opened his eyes, lightly rubbing her head against his with a shaky laugh. “Oh no suga your in no trouble at all, you gave everyone a scare that's all. But you're all better now because your my strong boy, how are you feeling? I can go get your baby doll if you want.” Lucien couldn't help but purr and chuf at Harris being alright, her worries washing away as fast as they came. “When I was on my way here I got you some rhino meat, a big ole one too. " I'm alright ma.. don't worry about bringing me my doll." He says- a little embarrassed. He chuffs at the idea of Rhino meat. It was one of his favorites. " You got Rino?? For me? Thanks ma! I'll go and-" He forgets his state of health and tries to rise- yelping and laying back down once the pain shoots through his body. He hissed- laying and taking a few breaths. " O-Or maybe.. " You're letting your insecurities push away people. Predicting that they'll already dislike you due to what happened in the past. " He mumbles- his eyes narrowing. " You're blaming people for not trying to chase you when you tell them time and time and again to leave. It gets discouraging. It gets.. hurtful." He sighs- his tail twitching behind him. " When I said I wanted to spend time with my friends. That included YOU." He remarks. " But you simply assumed I was shallow and uncaring towards your needs. So how else can I seem when that's the qualities you imprint onto me in your head?" he questions. " But. I'm done. " He grumbles. " If you wanna wallow in self pity and blame me for not understanding your feelings when you never verbalized them to me. Then go ahead. Grandmaw Jasper, Mudstone, Jumbo | Mangroves Grandmaw purred and bit back a small sob when Harris awoke, letting his two parents fuss over him first. She watched the strangers leave, unsure how she should be feeling right now. She looked at Howl, nervous and conflicted. She needed her mate to help recenter herself. Mudstone gave Angel a quick hug, hoping no one else noticed, before he left and scampered back to Harris. "You're awake!" She whimpered happily, "We were out of herbs, I got the healer from the other pride. They helped you! Grandmaw did most of it, but they had herbs!" She pranced between her paws, excited that she had been useful at getting someone better than herself. It was all she was good for, after all. Jumbo wiped away his tears, sniffling, "My son." He chuffed shakily, trying to hide just how afraid he had been, "I knew yew'd pull through. Ain't no way an herbivore was gonna get yew." After a bit narrowed river came to where the prey was and took a rabbit. She had hardly known her mother and sisters yet missed them greatly. She wish she had a close tie with a pride mate to share stories with, tell secrets, hunt with, and lounge with but she had no one and now no comfort. as in the stampede she had lost her special rock which her mother had given her right before she died 0 players like this post!
