Panya|Double Den

He smiles- returning her affections. He was a bit confused on how to feel about Aneesha.. He loved being her friend, and having somebody to talk to. But he felt guilty for the charade they were putting up. He was worried he was falling for it as well. That he may be in love with her. But he didn't want to burden her with those feelings. As far as he knew she was just pretending.. right? He sighs, not really having anything to pack up.

Just before Aneesha asks if he's alright, he spots Domino staring at him again- with that same creepy grin. He shakes his head and looks at Aneesha.

" Uh.. it's just that.. he keeps staring at me?" He murmurs hushly near Aneesha.

Domino did not break his gaze on him- by the sight of his scars he should very well be dead five times over. Perhaps he had a god looking out for him? What a fascinating sight.

Aneesha | Double Den

“Hmm? The healer?.” She mumbled quietly as she stole a glance at Domino, an odd shiver going down her spine from his gaze at Panay. She gives a forced, awkward smile before slowly turning her head back to face Panay as her face drops.


“Yep that’s creepy….maybe he just looking at something else or seeing if he tries to remember you from somewhere. He’s just really…creepy.” She strains out as she hid behind Panya as the staring even made her uncomfortable and slightly paranoid, did the healer recognize him?


“We’ll we’re all packed so we should join the others, let’s just hope the healer won’t do any more starring.” She picked up the basket with her mouth, holding it up high so it wouldn’t drag on the floor. Making way she stopped infront of lady Hadleigh.



“Me and panya all already packed lady Hadleigh! I made sure to pack everything for him and put the items in the right places!”

Panya+Domino+Hadleigh+the GALS|Double Den

He hums nervously- watching the healer as he intently studies him. Lady Hadleigh nods, gathering all the ladies and their mates up into a group.

" Right then! Let's head off. Watch your step and keep an eye on one another! Eh- Jesse.. Jill, Where are your mates??" She asks over to Jade's friends who shrug in response. Hadleigh groans- looking around outside for the twin boys.

" HEY! YOU TWO! GET IN HERE NOW!" She snaps to them- spotting them not so far off. They seemed to be comforting Havrick who was sulking. They scamper towards the dens and pair up with their mates before heading off with the group.

Jade gossips with one of the lionesses beside her.

" Hey! Did you hear about Havrick? His dad is royally pissed he's not gonna be with a double and got grounded from hunting and brawling!" She snickers- finding joy in the fact the ego king had been knocked down a few pegs.

Domino stays ahead of the group- at last not looking at Panya. Lady Hadleigh walks beside him as he guides them to the altar that seemed to rest on the outskirts of the pride.

" So! The boy with the maned lioness.. What's his name?"

He asks with a chirp. Hadleigh blinks- looking back to Panya before responding.

" Panya. He's from a different pride! He saved Aneesha from a wild boar."

She boasts- Domino narrows his eyes and smirks as he responds.

" Is he? How quaint."

He hums- clearly knowing the truth somehow. He had gotten a lot of knowledge from Bongo about the pride's history and the ranks in the old system. Clearly Panya was some sort of pit male.. but still- a rather remarkable one.

" Unrelated. But I have to ask- what are your qualifications for the girls mates?" He ponders- Hadleigh seems to perk up at this, always taking pride in her ways.

" Well! They must have a clean background. No inbreeding of course. Not for my angels. Healthy, Strong, and able to provide. And they all must have some sort of mutation. The twins back there both have primal fangs. The boy I paired with jade, Imp? He's a piebald with black patches much like yourself! His coat is rather dark so it can be hard to see. And Panya? Oh he's perfect!" She praises with a wistful sigh.

" Just as Aneesha has two mutations- he does as well! Maneless and overgrown claws! " She chuckles. Domino lets out an obnoxious laugh. Much to Hadleigh's annoyance.

" What? What's so funny?" She grumbles. Dominno giggles through his words.

" Two mutations is highly impossible! I'd imagine a lion with two mutations would die at birth!" He snorts- Hadleigh snarls at him, ears pinned and face red.

" Are you calling me some sort of fool??" She hisses, looming over the smaller healer. He looks to her with a wide Cheshire grin before answering.

" Indeed."

Hadleigh keeps her cool for now- knowing he's the only one who can check her girls but she gets a swipe in on his mane, luckily not hurting him. He giggles at the reaction, skipping along till they arrive at the altar.

" Alright girls! Please get your nests ready and come see me when you're done!" Domino announces to the girls and their mates.

Aneesha | Double Den

“Alrighty you wait for me here Panay, i should be out quick.” She reassured slightly nervous at what her resulted might be. Although she had a mutation and possibly two it would be for nothing if she was infertile or worse had no double uterus.


“Y-you won’t think I have low fertility will you? What if I’m infertile?! Or worse I don’t have a double uterus?!” She whispered yelled to panya as she nervously looked at the healer and lady Hadleigh.

(Also frost you can choose her results for her fertility!)

Panya+others| Petho's Altar

He tries to calm her down best he can, patting her shoulder and petting her head as they wait in line. Domino starts to get to work, Jade being first to be checked.

" Alright! Lay down on this cot for me will you? And take some deep breaths as my bat scans you"

He instructs her. Jade does as she's told. Once she's lying down the small yellow nosed bat chirps at her from different angles- then it looks at Domino.

It flaps its wings four times before blinking slowly at him. Domino seems pleased and starts to give Jade her diagnosis with Lady Hadleigh standing beside her.

" Seems you have the mutation and good fertility my girl! Congrats."

He announces, the other girls congratulating their friend as they wait in line behind her. Slowly but surely the line dwindles- each girl having the double mutation and good to average fertility. Hadleigh seems over the moon- even more so when Aneesha steps onto the Cot. Panya waits off to the side, twiddling his thumbs. Trying not to chew on his tail in anxiety for her.

The bat scans her- turning to Domino and flapping his wings five times before sneezing. Domino nods to him before speaking to the two of them in a quieter tone.

" Well. As I predicted- You do not have a double Uterus Aneesha. "

He starts off- Lady Hadleigh is quick to react, screeching at him.

" WHAT?!? Y-YOU'RE WRONG! Scan her again! That little rat must have done something wrong!"

She snaps- glaring at the bat who seems unbothered. Domino shrugs and scans her once more, the bat reporting with the same results.

He clicks his tongue- unsure how to soften the blow.

" Sorry friend. She's normal. Well- Normal as any other maned lioness."

He remarks. Hadleigh looks utterly shocked and betrayed- staring down at her paws with her mouth ajar.

" But! There is some good news."

He chirps- making Hadleigh hiss at him.

" HA! Like any good could come from this." She sneers.

" It seems miss Aneesha here has a goddess level fertility! The first I've seen in any mutated lioness in fact." He adds, which seems to brighten Lady Hadleigh's mood.

" So she's not useless??" She begs him- eyes wide with hope. Domino gives her a strained smile before answering.

" No. She never has been either. But in terms of rarity. She still is one." He remarks. Hadleigh wraps Aneesha into a hug, tears streaming down her face.

" OH THANK THE GODS! I was so worried my baby would be barren! "

She whimpers, the other girls cringing at the display. Jade feels her jealousy get the better of her as she speaks up.

" S-So Aneesha has good fertility! So what?? She still doesn't have a DU like the rest of us! A-And I have good fertility! Which is still pretty rare, right?? Didn’t you hear when he said that mom-"

She sheepishly interjects. Hadleigh slaps her with a clawed paw before screaming at her.

" HOLD YOUR TONGUE! This isn't about you! You aren't special." She growls looking back at Aneesha with pride.

" But SHE is!" She claps, cheering mostly by herself. The others seem put off by her solo celebration. Imp helps a weeping Jade off to the side to get her patched up.

Aneesha | Petho's Altar

Aneesha struggles to release herself from Lady Hadleigh's hold on her, finding her tight grasp uncomfortable and painful. Getting out of her grasp Aneesha rubs to panya’s side, slightly cowering behind him as she watched Hadleigh crazed celebration to herself.



Although she was happy she wasn’t infertile, considering she would want a family in the far future but not have a DU? She felt happy but also sad almost at the same time, the guilt of not being able to repay Lady Hadleigh's debt but also not have as much pressure as the others. But with having goddess fertility didn’t exactly relieve any of the weight either.



“Panya, I don’t like they way she’s acting. I’m scared and Jade is hurt.” She whispers out frightened, a gut feeling settled deep in her stomach.

Panya|Altar

*warning blood and gore*

Panya was frozen- something in him snapping at the sight of Jade getting hit by her own mother.

His face was cold and emotionless. He didn’t speak to Aneesha- simply patted her shoulder before walking up towards Lady Hadleigh.

Hadleigh looks to him, confused as to why his face was so sour. She quickly takes a caring tone before speaking

“ Panya? Is something the matter? Oh gosh- I’m so sorry, I lied to you!” She realizes- thinking he was upset that Aneesha didn’t have a double uterus.

“ I promise if I had known I wouldn’t have made burdened you with her” she jokes slightly.

“ But she’s still high quality! Oh I beg.. please stay with her. “ She whimpers- eyes full of regret. Panya feels his chest burn with rage, so much so that he begins shaking. His eye is locked on her, his lips twitching as they threatened to roll back so he might strike her with his fangs.

Domino’s eyes widen as a small amused chuckle leaves his mouth. He steps aside, dreadfully curious to where this was headed.

At last Panya speaks- his voice is different. It was cold and bitter like a winter breeze. Yet deathly hushed as well.

“ Aneesha is more than her mutations. More than a prize. “ he remarks, Hadleigh blinks. utterly confused.

“ She likes to explore.. and sh-she likes mice! And lavender! And I’ve barely known her! “ he growls.

“ Did you know ANY of that?? Do you know ANYTHING about those you have under your care??” He wails- tearing up. The girls gasp slightly at his bold words.

Lady Hadleigh sneers at him.

“ Of course I did! I know everything about my girls! What are you trying to say?!?” She hisses, now looking over him. Panya swallows- trying not to throw himself into a panic attack.

“ I like Aneesha for more than what she can provide as a lioness! Would you?!? If she had turned out infertile?? What would you have done then?? No- I’ll tell you what you would have done. You would have casted her aside. Maybe even KILL her because she wasn’t perfect and pure like you wanted!” He rants- his fur starting to rise.

“ You’re so obsessed with her that you forget your own daughter is even there! What kind of teacher are you to these future mothers if you’re an awful one?!?” He screams- panting at the end of it.

Hadleigh is floored- her jaw agape before she begins to growl- suddenly lunging and pinning him down. She swipes at his face, re-opening a lot of scars as she screeches at him.

“ YOU KNOW NOTHING OF ME!!”

Panya coughs and sputters- shrieking out in pain at the attack, blood starting to paint the floor and his face. He manages to wiggle out from her grasp, only to be yanked by the tail and slammed into the ground. He wheezes, trying to get up. But Hadleigh is far quicker- raking her claws down his sides furiously.

The girls are too shocked to interfere- watching the horrid display. Once she’s satisfied- Panya is a sobbing bloody mess, his pelt mangled and dirty again.

She scoffs at him, spitting at the floor near him.

“ If you fuck up this royally again? You’ll have nothing to do with my Aneesha.” She warns, licking the blood from her muzzle. She stalks off, clearly still agitated.

Domino has been smiling this whole time- throughly enjoying the drama. He even claps his paws excitedly at the end of it.

“ Good show! But seriously you should probably come over here before you die-“ he comments towards Panya, who’s still crying on the floor.

Imp rushes to his side and helps him up- Glaring at Domino as he gets Panya on the cot.

Domino starts to work on him- trying to get him to calm down

Aneesha | Petho's Altar

"Panya? Panya where are you going?! Panya!" Aneesha yelled out as she reached out for panya, frozen in fearing the reaction of lady Hadleigh.


She walked slightly towards them, some of the girls around her joining to see what he'd do or say. Watching with fear-filled eyes Aneesha felt ashamed when Hadleigh joked about her being a burden, confused as to why this once nice lioness was now evil and cruel. turning her head away in shame she made a move to leave, turning back around when hearing her name being said.



Aneesha was shocked at the statement he was saying, although not disagree with panya. But to her in a matter of minutes or seconds, all hell broke loose. Seeing the horrid display of Hadleigh clawing at panyas side as he tried to fight back, blood splattering onto the floor making her sick to her stomach. Fearing panyas death Aneesha tried to call out to lady Hadleigh, begging her to forgive panya for his words to stop hurting him as she cried.



When the fight stopped she held in her breath, fearing that panya wouldn't move from his spot on the floor. Scampering to his side with her tail in between her legs and her ears pinned back she watched as the healer began to heal him, reaching out for his paw to comfort him.



"I-im sorry panya, I'm sorry you shouldn't have risked yourself for me. Im sorry, please forgive me." Aneesha cries out like a cub getting scolded by its mother, tears trickling down her cheeks and dropping onto the floor.

Panya|Altar

He breaths heavily- wincing as Domino worked on him as they talked.

“ I-I’m sorry.. I shouldn’t have said all that.. I just.. she was getting on my last nerve! “ he grumbles- sniffling. He holds Aneeshas paw close, his body still shaking.

“ I meant everything I said. I don’t regret it.. even if it hurts. Even if she hates me now. Your worth more than her praise and favor. “ he states again, chis voice was soft and tired.

Slowly but surely Domino had fixed him up- smoothing down his bandages and dusting off his paws.

“ There! You should be fine. You should rest here for now though. Feel free to join him Aneesha.” He offers to his mate before stepping away.

Jade rushes up to the two of them before shouting.

“ How dare you say those things to my mother?! She-She’s going through a lot right now and all you did was make it worse, Rat boy!” She hisses- Imp pushes her back with a stern voice

“ Enough Jade. You need to rest too.. Panya isn’t at fault here.” He tries to calm her, she scoffs- slapping away a paw he offered.

“ No! He disrespected Lady Hadleigh! Your supposed to be on my side!” She whimpers to Imp- getting red in the face.

“ I am my gem.. But look at you! She hurt you as well! It’s not fair to you…” he frowns- Jade groans, stomping her paw.

“ Forget it.. None of you get her like I do..” she mutters, slinking away

“ Jade-?” He calls out to her, his heart breaking slightly.

Aneesha | Petho's Altar

"I feel like im home with you when we're together; no amount of items and adventures will give me the same feeling I have when I am around you." She whispered to him as she nods her head watching the healer leave, taking a spot near panya as she watched his chest go up and down as she held his paw close. Suddenly as a pause of peace came it left just as soon as jade came barrelling in, trying to defend her mother.



At the mere mention of lady Hadleigh Aneesha felt angry which was weird to her at first, never felt this emotion till now when everything started to change.


But seeing jade trying to defend her cruel mother made her feel sad, only seeing someone trying to live up to their parent's expectation only to be discouraged regardless of what great achievements they've done for them. Standing from panyas side she stepped lightly next to Imp with sadness written across her face, looking to where jade ran off.


"She still loves you, even if you too didn't really agree. She's just angry and sad because of how lady Hadleigh treats her regardless of her being her only living daughter. Im really the reason for that because she treated me like a trophy even though I hated it, I felt like I needed to be this perfect girl for her because I owed her. She had given me care and kept me for what I thought was out of love, but now I can see clearly it wasn't." Aneesha turned towards Imp with a sad smile before turning back to where jade left.


"Can you watch over panya for me? I need to tell jade what I told you."

The GAng|Altar

Imp nods sadly- sighing and heading over to stand beside Panya as he rests.

Currently Jade was weaving a basket- tears slipping down her face. Her wound had been treated slightly- but the pain still made her stomach churn. She sniffles as she crafts- confused and pissed.

Soon enough she gets frustrated and snarls before ripping the half made thing to pieces. Once she's finished she collapses onto the ground in small sobs. She didn't understand what she had done wrong. Why she wasn't good enough for her mother. She felt ashamed, hearing the girls nearby whisper and gossip behind their paws.

It was clear now she had lied to them about how close her and her mother were. And it drove her mad. She wished she could wallow away in a hole forever.

She flinched at the sound of somebody coming near- growing agitated once she saw who it was.

" Screw off Nee. I don't feel like talking right now." She growls towards her- trying not to show the maned lioness her tear stained face.

Aneesha | Petho's Altar

"Im making sure you're alright since your wounds still look bad, and I wanted to talk to you." She says softly as she gathers the torn pieces of the basket into her arms and gently places them in front of jade.



"You know you shouldn't tear them up, they are very beautiful. I still have the one you threw at my head, left a little dent in it but beautiful nonetheless." Aneesha stood there awkwardly as she stared at the torn pieces of the basket, fiddling with the end of her tail fluff. She felt awful, for trying to start a conversation that was most likely very awkward and for making jade feel this way and be treated like this.



Carefully she started to move the pieces together on the floor in front of her, moving them to reveal such beautiful designs and patterns. By the end, she almost had a good part of the basket pieces together, as they stood side by side to each other.

"I-Im sorry for what happened and I came here to explain.'

Jade|Pethos's Altar

She scoffs, turning away from her to sulk. Her tail drums on the floor as she speaks in a harsh tone.

" What's there to explain?? What? Did you come to rub it in my face? That my mom picked you over me?" She accuses her- eyes narrowing. She sniffles, wiping away her tears before talking again.

" You won, Nee. There's nothing else to say. Congrats." She laughs sadly- gritting her teeth. " I don't get it. I did everything to please her. Did my chores, learned how to craft, kept the others in line..." She bites her lip before talking again.

" I don't even like boys.. and yet here I am- trying my best to be a good mate for Imp. " She grumbles, feeling ashamed of herself.

" I did it for her.. just so she could look my way.. like she did before you came." She snarls-flexing her claws in the dirt. " Now she won't even spare me a glance." She grumbles- pushing away the broken pieces of basket.

Aneesha | Petho's Altar

"No jade, I never wanted to win. I never wanted to win your mother's praise or have me picked over you, I wouldn't want that ever. I played along because I felt like I was in debt to her, to you, to everyone in the den because I thought I was a burden." She admitted as she sat down near jade, looking at her tear-stained face.



"I thought if I played along with her I would repay her for taking care of me, for taking me in when my mother died and my father abandoned me. For a while, I thought I was doing something good but now I can see that I was just harming you, your relationship with your mother and I'm sorry for it." Aneesha hesitantly places her paw on jades before looking back to where Imp is watching over panya, seeing him rest and try to heal.



"But I don't want this life anymore, I don't want to be only praised or be sold off like items because of my genetics and mutation that I have. I want to be somewhere where I don't have to pretend, where I can be myself and stay with the people I love. But please remember I never meant for that to happen to you, I've looked up to you ever since I was a cub." Aneesha looks back to jade, giving her paw a gentle squeeze before getting up to leave. But before leaving back to panyas side she turned her head back to jade.



"But please consider this, if she really did love you it wouldn't matter who or what came after you as her love for you, her daughter would be unconditional. She would treat you like a daughter, not a trophy or a prize to be showcased and used...ill take my leave now." She turns back and headed toward the two males, leaving jade to consider her apology and maybe a realization hoping the two could be friends after this, always looking at the brighter side.

The BUnch|Petho's Altar

*warning, dead animal/ blood*

She sighs- Pushing back the fur on her head. Soon she heads back to the group, all the girls snuggle up with their mates under the Altar and sleep for the night.

When morning comes Lady Hadleigh is nowhere to be seen. The girls seem to worry slightly- trying to ask Domino for guidance or help. The patched male is rather clueless to where she is and decides to look for her.

Domino began to roam around the area- soon spotting Lady Hadleigh near something odd. He squints and tilts his head, soon piecing together what she was standing at.

It seemed to be some sort of shrine to Coyfish. It was an odd looking thing, a large thorny bramble bush adorned with dark berries seemed to hold up a tall yet flat pillar like stone, on which a baby Dik Dik bled out. It had clearly died hours ago, the blood around its neck thick and dried. Around the pillar was Coy fish's ear. Most likely stolen from Hyena's cave. He was shocked to say the least. He knew such a thing was pointless to have- and yet here she sat, mumbling prayers near it.

He hums- a bit irritated that she'd make such a thing. As if Coy were some sort of God. But perhaps to her he was. Once she's finished she starts to climb back up towards Petho's altar. Domino slips away- not wanting her to suspect anything.

When she arrives she looks as if she hasn't slept. She snaps towards the group in a hoarse tone.

" Alright. Pack up- we're headed back." She snarled- eyes burning into Panya as he groaned, lifting himself up from the cot and to the ground. He ached everywhere. He peered at Aneesha and yawned before talking.

" Morning.. Did you sleep alright?" He asks softly, his voice a bit low from just waking up.
