I may be interested! Are you wanting plot like "this is where they came from, how they got here, their goals" type or "you are walking along and meet (lion)" encounter sort? Or just something possibly seen/overheard at a distance by a Nameless Presence (not a king or player pov)?

Also, is dialog ok?

For Marigold based on her decor—


Deep in the heart of the Charredlands, a lone lioness roams still. The ground is burnt and covered in ash, her pawprints trailing behind for miles until a breeze hides them once more. She has seen so much in her day, between the wars and the beasts of old returning. She has lost so many.

Looking up to the night sky, her amber eyes fill with unshed tears for those who weren't so strong. Those long gone, on either side, who left her to wander the graveyard her home had become.

She could leave, of course, but that felt like a betrayal to those who had fought to keep this land. So she stayed, living among the ghosts of memories and whispers of smiles that once frolicked through these plains and hills, when she wasn't the only one.

Heart heavy, she continues her search for any form of life, any hope of returning this land to something good and bright—and then she sees it, a shifting in the bone and rubble that littered what was left of her old den. Hope sparks to life inside her and she darts for it, digging through the stone and dust, but what she finds is no friend, and she jumps back in alarm, teeth bared.

The chaos serpant studies her, twin coals burning in its eye sockets and she could swear it singed her fur even at a distance. This was the enemy, the killers, the—

"I am........the lasssssst....." it hisses weakly, a wing twisted at an uncomfortable angle. She pauses. "Pleasssssse.......I am.....alone....."

And in that moment of weakness, she saw herself in this creature. Another being left behind, struggling. Just like her.

She approachea and it flinches back, expecting fangs or claws, but instead she finishes digging it out. "This is mercy," she whispers, voice rough from lack of use, "learn it and remember."

"Mercy..........." the word is foreign on its forked tongue, but it did learn, and it did remember. They only had each other now, no longer enemies but not quite friends.

They were the survivors.
