Hey guys! After spending some hours getting my ass beat, then clawing my way to victory, I've decided it'd be a great idea to write down my fighting observations for everyone struggling with fights! As a note, remember: STATS /DO/ MATTER FOR THIS EVENT! But you can still get lucky with RNG and knowing how to fight the creatures correctly! RNG also plays a lot in this, so you won't win 100%. But this guide will likely help you win more often if you've been struggling. Feel free to add your own observations as well! -------------- Drakes of any Kind (including Drakelings) :: Pound/Kick combo. (I personally lead with Charge, then Grab, then interchange Pound and Kick) Some drakelings can be fought with Bite/Swipe combo too! Wyverns of any Kind :: Claw! Wyverns have Soft Skin and Claw attacks do massive damage. Instellar Snake :: Pound/Kick combo. Sometimes their grapple is tough, and if you break out of it/lose grip, do a Bite/Swipe combo! It works too. Serpents of any other Kind :: Same to the Drakes, Pound/Kick combo! Make sure to combo, only doing Kick or Pound can make it harder for you. Dustlings and Burstlings :: Roar! They're cowards and a lot of the time if you Roar first turn they'll flee immediately. Othertimes they may just freeze, but if you do a few attacks and Roar again, they'll end up fleeing in most cases. **They don't always flee though.** ****IClaw/Kick combo works great on them if they don't run!**** Gamma Ray Beings and other Gamma Beings :: Pound/Kick combo Windssrah :: Claw/Kick combo! Starburst Being :: Claw/Kick combo Wyrms :: Pound/Kick combo < BOSSES > Do not Claw ANY boss. They all have Thick Skin Drakontos :: Charge, Grab, Pound/Kick combo Drakavia :: Charge, Grab, Pound/Kick combo Dragon :: Charge, Grab, Pound/Kick combo 11 players like this post! Like? Ah great guide! Hopefully I, too, can now kick some ass instead of getting my ass kicked. Just wanted to add that for all of these enemies (from what I know) they will NOT charge at you if you rest (although some of them have nasty attacks that can stunlock you). The Dragon bosses also have thick skin so don't use claw on them as well as Drakontos ^^ Dustlings and Burstlings will almost ALWAYS run away or otherwise be permanently frozen from your roars so I wouldn't even attempt fighting and just sit there from the start, roaring away till they finally give up :P 0 players like this post! Actually I've had times where Dustlings and Burstlings never fled from my Roars, and ended up attacking me after being frozen for awhile, and kill my lion so, I've learned if they don't flee soon enough, I just battle them. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The Pulsar Wyrm can charge and stunlock you if you rest, so you should avoid doing that. Any tips on fighting that one? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I also find Burstlings and Dustlings don't always flee and can just kill you anyway, so I also choose to just fight if I don't scare them off with an initial roar. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I just wanted to say that for Dustlings and Burstlings, the Roar often doesn't work. But I find that a Claw/Pound combo usually does the job. Also I have a lot of trouble with the serpents. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 03/07/22 @ 10:28:40 by SaruToo (#308713) |

i found that a pound/claw combo works better with the snakes and serpents whenever i try to kick my attack always seems to fail 0 players like this post! Like? |

most of the time, ill have fairly decent luck/results with the pounce, grab (if pounce doesn't auto grab), then pound pound POUND! lol sometimes ill kick before I pound, but I'm not sure if it helps much or not 0 players like this post! Like? |
